FYI: Macy's will not let you charge on a old Macy's credit card. They ask you to open a new one.

Started calling me five days ago up to three times a day at about the same as another unrecognized number. I dont have any credit cards, especially with Macy's, so they have no business calling me. Blocking this number.

One of two possible scenarios come to mind.
1) They are calling an outdated number.
I went through this very thing with previous numbers and the alleged collector rarely accepted the fact that they reached the wrong number.

2) The person who incurred the alleged debt put down a random number on the application.

Whatever the case might be, I would be prepared for more debt collection calls. Not just from this company, but others as well.

Called my assigned WORK mobile and asked for same person FDS bank has been asking for.  Told them this is a work number and she is not here.  Asked for my mobile number and gave it to her and said it would be removed from account.

Made a payment and still receiving these calls. I'm blocking them!

I have received 39 calls from 513 area code phone numbers in Mason, OH (513-573-8028, 513-754-9874, 513-573-8038, and 513-754-9841) the past week. Now they are calling from 727-556-5492 in St. Petersburg, FL as well. I have already had 3 calls today from both area codes. I get up to 6 calls a day, including weekends. I thought solicitors are not allowed to call on Sunday's, so I'm not sure what this is. The 513 #'s said it is for "Macy's/ Bloomingdales," but I have never missed a payment. Then the 727 # said it's for "Macy's Credit Operations." Even if you block the numbers, they will continue to call from another number. I hope someone knows how to get them to stop for good. Please help. Thank you!

P.S. I noticed the calls started a day after I stupidly tried signing up for tickets to a game show online. I will never do that again. They are a third-party scammer trying to get personal information.

For those of you who don't have a Macy's account or don't owe them anything here is what I did. I kept getting calls from Macy's and I don't have nor ever had a Macy's account and don't shop there so I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The calls got stopped and I got a letter from Macy's Executive Office saying my number was entered in error and that I shouldn't receive anymore calls. Relentless calling. For one week now has been calling  at least 6 times, morning to night.

I keep getting repeated calls from this number.  When I tried to return the call, I could not understand the person who answered.  This is a spam phone call.

There is something wrong here.  I hve no debt and never owned a Macy''s card.  I'll just block the number.

This is a phone line that we do not use. No one has this number so I am assuming the calls are robo calls. Not picking up. Ever.

I picked up and someone actually answered, but they were looking for someone else. Coincidentally it's the same name of many other people trying to call this person... She must not know her own phone number or is giving people a wrong number WHICH HAPPENS TO BE MINE AAAAUGH.

If there are multiple people on here reporting the same name, then this is obviously a scam call.
