DCS bought a loan I had from the Iowa College Aid Commission. ICAC confirmed they did "buy" my loan from them. I couldn't keep up w/payments w/ICAC, and off my loan went to someplace else.

I'll stop calling when you start paying...

I have student loans that were turned over to your agency. Is there anyone who works there that is nice and not a horrible, scary, mean person? I just want to get this sorted out, not get yelled at and treated like sub-human. Thanks.

and file a complaint.

pretending like they owe you when they Don't.
WHY would you need a fax in showing the bill was paid
to stop calling? If the money is truly owed you should have the info
already. Why would you need proof of it being paid already???????
Because its not your business and you never was owed to begin with!

ummm.....move to Canada? New Zealand? Amsterdam? or some other place
Outside of the US? Then they cannot garnish your wages
since you work and live Outside of the US.
Heck if you just up and move just like that with no word
they wont even know or have no clue where you went.

I would like to know if this FYI person would ever consider collecting child support from dead-beat-dads. If I could get him to go after my ex for the 20,000 he is behind I could pay my student loans!!

For some of you nice people out there, we complain about paying debts off, sure they stalk people at times, but look at the big picture, some of you put your electronic withdrawals when you give them a right to take your money but its not just dcs, its Tmobile, at&t, Cingular, that does it to everyone, and lets not get into the detail with banks misplacing your money, all in all, its not just dcs, I owe them money but they never call me looking for payment, i called them, I knew i owed money for school and i want to pay it of, i talked to them and they were fair with me, stop complaining a F***ing do something about it, 99% of the people in this world are scared of life to begin with. I am 23 years old and i owe several thousands of dollars, be smart people, you just want a place to rant and rave, if that is the case ill got make a cell phone fraud post so then we can all talk S**T in it some more, is that going to get it paid? You are [***] if you think that was the point of my comment!! Child support is to take care of expenses for the household that cares for the child. Do you think the payments are made out to the kid?? It is for food and clothing yes, but did you ever consider things like rent or mortgage and utilities? How about medical expenses and ins. premiums. I'm budgeted to the penny with only basic monthly bills and have nothing left at the end for the payments you people want. (and no I don't have cable TV or cell phones) I have to live on the money I earn working my ass off and all it pays for is food, lights, heat, water and a roof over my kids head! I can't even afford car insurance. If my ex was paying his support It would free up some of MY INCOME to pay other bills. But I guess your parents work for AIG and you never have needed to live on a budget. I had to put school aside to go to work and support my family. If I could go back to school and finish my degree I could get a better job and pay you. Until that happens I am stuck where I am. If you are the smart one then fix the dam economy so I can find a job that pays enough. And while your at it could you call my husbands employer and ask them not to lay him off because there is no work, because you really need to get paid!!! When I have it you will get it. Here is one more stupid ? for you too. If I'm in default on student loans and therefore my credit is F*%#ed, why are you morons telling me to go get a loan from a BANK to pay you off?? I'd be more inclined to work things out with you people anyway I can if I knew I was not going to be abused. You can do your job and be a descent person if you try. A very nasty person from your company called my number to ask to talk to a neighbor, when I asked how she got my number she said it's a favor and you don't need to yell at me. I really yelled and cursed her out. If your company does not have any other way to contact people don't go around bothering the rest of the world. That's very uncouth for.
