That is how I ended up at this site. I was doing my own research to find out who this number belongs to. Now I know. If the company name had shown up on my id, I certainly wouldn't have waisted my time trying to track down the number on the internet. - Su-z-LuCall the following # and add yours to their Do Not Call List:
866-320-4607
Hope this helps as I too experianced the afternoon hang-ups and the repeated phone calls!- Caller: SYNOVATE

- duh replies to anonymoussynovate is not bogus and you cannot get personal information if that is not what ur asking for.. you know nothing. I work for synovate , but you wont understand it funny how you people can point your fingers and be so rude to a company that you don't know anything about. assume assume assume ....
- oh yeah replies to Greg| 1 replysure if we call and say we will pay you you will just say "ok" .. doubt it ..calling and saying we will pay you so much makes it worse because in order to send you a check we need ur full name and address. think before you rant
- BenI got calls from this number (559 437-5359) Synovate (?). do not know anyone by this name. Most of all do not care to have any more calls from this or any-other number associated with this company(if they are). simply
if you call and do not say who you are....do not waste my time or yours (free advice).....not a good business practice. NO THANKS !- Caller: Washington Mutual(?)
- EMJAYReceived 2 calls today from the number only identifying Fresno CA 559-437-5359. One call was at 5:45PM CST and the second was at 9:29PM CST. I did answer the second call to get only a dial tone - no one there.
The is not only a violation of the DNC list once but three times. The DNC rules state that a company may contact you if you have had a prior relationship with them - we had a mortgage with Washington Mutual, if that's who they are calling for - BUT the company has to contact you personally - not through a third party AND the caller ID MUST identify the caller - not just the city and state. Additionally, they may only call between the hours of 8am - 9pm in YOUR time zone. 9:29PM CST is definitely outside those boundaries.- Caller: Fresno, CA
- shI got a call from this number and they said they are from Medicare
- UncleAJNot home, so call ID info only -- I do NOT agree that "market research" firms are excluded from the federal 'do not call' procedures/list -- Political, religious prosletizing, some valid surveys, and organisations that you have a previous relationship with are some of the exclusions -- Personally I consider ALL non-solicited non emergency calls harrasement !! I see very little enforcement action published, and suspect that the 'powers that be' would like to make the whole 'do not call' thing go away, and are not actively pushing it to encourage public apathy -- Repeat calls from aggressive religious institutions with no way to shut them off (no ans. or BZ at their phones)do not help growth !
- Caller: synovate
- uncleaj replies to nessI think you miss the point ! I appreciate that you were just earning a living, however I can not agree that the right to earn a living automatically confers the right to annoy someone who pays for phone service and has the RIGHT, regardless of some imperfect regulations, to the use of it AS HE LIKES. I don't buy your industries lament that 'we are just earning a living'. As you say 'they don't give a ----". Well, guess what ? YOU are/were Synovate and seem to share their attributes, in my humble opinion !! Perhaps a more ethical pursuit ---------- !
- don't pick updidnt leave a message
- cheri replies to mikeMy caller id did not identify the caller as Synovate. Only listed "Fresno" as the caller. I just don't answer calls listed like that. If it's important, someone will definitely call you back.
- cheri replies to mikeP.S. Thanks for the email link. Very thoughtful of you.
- E.AUZENNEI got a call from this number, said they were doing a survery
- Call type: Survey
- maryI receive calls from this number EVERY SINGLE DAY. Please, stop it.
- Zip replies to RobThis is not WAMU, but a research company that employs harrassment tactics,
several calls a day, re-calling immediately after a hang-up. The company
name is Synovate. The email contact is: marie@synovate.NET. - ex bankerWow! This is very frustrating to everyone. As a former banker, I know that banks do contract with outside sources to assist with monitoring the level of service they provide to their customers. By having a third party conduct such research for them, their is no bias on the data collected during the reasearch. It is not selling your information to an outside source. In fact, the banks or other companies are paying millions of dollars to the survey company to conduct the surveys for them.
For the most part, it seems that most of you are not frustrated about getting the call to iqnuire about your experience at your bank, restaurant, or car dealership, but instead, the harrasing tactics Synovate practices. Businesses have only one way of knowing if they're doing a good job, and that's by hearing it directly from consumers. Initially, the bank I worked for used to send paper surveys in a number of bank statements on a monthly basis. On average we'd receive les than 5% back. We then began using an outside source to provide phone surveys for us and the survey rate climbed to approximately 80%. We did not use Syovate, but never received complaints about the survey company. We did receive calls to ensure that they were legit however. In fact, customers would come into branches, tell the employees they received a survey call and that they told them how great we were. Perhaps you should complain to your banks, not about inquiring about the service they provided to you, but about the annoying practices of the survey Synovate. The company we used would never call and just hang up. They would leave a message, and if you chose to call back, great. Furthermore, if they called you and you answered, they used a practice in which they explained to you who they were, what their purpose was, and whether or not this was a good time for you to talk about your experience on your visit to the bank today or the previous day, whichever applied.
I know it's furstrating when you get calls and they seem to be an imposition on your time, privacy, and peace, but you should complain, in writing to your bank, restaurant, or whatever service provider hired them, about Synovate or any other survey company's annoying practices if applicable. Believe me, I know how you feel about unwanted/time-wasting calls, that's why I'm at this site. I received a call from Synovate today,a dn they did not leave a message, nor was their number identified.- Caller: Synovate
- Willie replies to JGRYour a brainwashed [***]. Crawl back under your rock and leave people alone [***].
- Willie replies to oh yeahThink before you call numbnuts. You are brave behind that computer dialed phone. Step outside and see the sunlight. Are you proud of yourself? If the answer is yes then I go back to the numbnuts comment. But my guess is you are embarrassed by yourself and your family tells everyone you have a legitimate job because they are too ashamed of you to tell people you are a leach on society and your job is to bother people. You must even disgust yourself when you look in the mirror. You are lower than whale [***]. And thats at the bottom of the ocean.
- SuzI've been receiving these calls from this number plus my son and husband. The calls my son has received are collections on someone else with his name and used his number. We do not answer any calls that do not come up with a Caller ID or that we do not recognize because they burn up our minutes. We are on the National Do Not Call list and have requested numerous times to be removed and eventually the calls start again. Cell phones should not be called in reference to survey's or otherwise. It is a violation of people's privacy and cell phones should be protected since every minute of use is billed and no one but no one should say they can do this just because. You sure wouldn't want to say that to me in person. I have been in telephone services for wireless for the past 8 yrs and these calls are our most recent complaints. I do not speak to my customers in the manner these people speak to me and they are far from perfessional. These companies get what they pay for and that is rude, obnoxious people. And don't get me started on the people calling me from India or the Phillipines. We are gradually out sourcing our good names using those countries and people who speak extremely poor English. We all need to wise up and protect our companies and our country from bad decisions like this.
