I don't know how this company got my cell phone number!  I have not answered the call because I wasn't familiar with 559-437-5359.  So far, there have been no calls on my home phone.

Today I looked up the number on 800notes.com and read the information.  I do bank at WaMU.  It would be interesting to know if anyone else uses WaMU.  If so, I am going to contact the bank immediately.  Personal info should never be given out or sold!

I have contacted them twice by phone and once by email to remove me from the calling list and they continue to call and harass me. I wish they would stop calling me. I have never done business with them before. I also reported them to the do not call list people but what good does it do when they keep calling even if you ask them to never call. We have no privacy anymore and anyone can get around the do not call list and still harass you. It is the most annoy thing. I am about to disconnect my number and never have one if this continues.

I was told it was a survey. I was asked about my ethnicity. I was asked what cell phone company I use. I was asked if my first language was spanish instead of english and if I spoke more spanish than english.  I wss asked where my grandparents were from. I was also asked my age and alot of personal questions that I felt uncomfortable  I told them that our phone number is on the do not call list and also our cell phones.  I told them I would appreciate it that they do not call this number again.  I asked them what they were selling he said this was only a survey.

I got a call from 559-437-5359 and no one on the other end, so why do they bother to call? I called them back and a recording says they are Synovate, a marketing research company. They say they can be reached at 866-320-4607. But calling that number won't get you a human.

My cable phone service has call rejection so I pressed *60 and entered this phone # and will never have to here the phone ring if they call again.

Wow! Tough crowd!Sandy, you are correct in that not all caller ID's identify this company. Mine says "out of area" (I'm in Georgia). I, too, entered the number in Google and it took me to this site. I AM doing research on the number! I appreciate Mike's info but agree that the message was a bit harsh. We're all working towards the same end here, aren't we?

Wahington Mutal..The point IS trying to help others. On the caller ID there is no company name. The point of this sight is that we are tired of these calls. So next time before you inconvenience any one else you do the research.

I continue to get this number on my cell phone.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.  I called it today from another phone and it is a marketing research company.

FIGHT BACK:
Tired of receiving calls from them?  Do you have a modem attached to you computer?  Then set it to autodial their corporate office at 866-320-4607.  If hundreds (or more) people were to do this, it would tie up their phone switch, and potentially cost them a good amount of money (866 is a toll-free number - so free for you, cost to the company).

Work all day?  Set your system up to simply dial them all day long while you are at work.  Do it for a week or two, and see the results.

Received a call from 559-437-5359 on 10/27/08 at 8:31 p.m. (PD) and told them they should be ashamed of themselves for calling people at this time of night, along with a few other choice expletives.  I think they did mention something about "research" or "survey", but I'm not sure.  All I know is that no business or organization conducts business at that time of night.

called 11/19 at 3:14pm & 11/20 at 7:44pm.  First time I wasn't home, 2nd time I didn't pick up until after the 3rd ring & all I heard was a dial tone.  My caller ID does not show anything except California & the number.  There is no company name & no other information.

Called. I let it ring, they didn't leave a message on my voice mail.

Woke up by a call from this number at 7:02AM on Saturday today, I missed it and I checked caller ID that was Synovate.

They usually just hang up when someone answers

Have recently received multiple calls from this number at all hours of the day.  We do not answer if we don't recognize or expect a call from whomever is displayed on caller id.  They usually hang up after 2-3 rings.

Just received a call from this number.  They did not leave a voicemail message.  They are calling an unlisted number which makes this call even more annoying.  Have also been receiving calls from this company with caller ID listing a number of 312-775-1287.  So far the 312-775-1287 number has been calling daily for nearly a week.  Why would a company call a home multiple times, and via different phone numbers?  Very, very strange.

U guys r soo stupid. they just call to do surveys. if u dont wanna do them just say add me to the do not call list. that simple. u guys make a big [***] deal out of nothing. get over yourself. ugh.

synovate calls for multiple companies who have a contract with them to conduct research for that particular company; be it health care, motor research, or banking, each of the companies they call for are contracted. just ask to be put on their do not call list and they will remove you. they are completely exempt from the federal do not call list because they are not selling anything or doing telemarketing, they are just market research. calm down.
