I also received a called from what read in my caller id as Synovate 559-437-5359, and the caller spoke to me in Spanish???  I have no idea how he knew we spoke Spanish in my home ... other than he must have a phone list with our full name.  Be ware ... they are definitely scamming people.

Sorry guys, but Synovate shows up on caller ID for me, my friends, and my family.  Don't know where you all live, but AT&T shows us the phone number and company name.  May be your carrier, or your caller ID unit which is the problem.

called several times for last 3 days, no message left

Call came in at 8:00 PM on 5/27/08- did not recognize # did not answer. They left no message - Only showed - Unavailable on phone display - Am on do not call list, but somehow call came thru- This number is now blocked

I receive calls from this number.  Person calling from this number wouldn't explain reason for call.  Got echo and I hung up. I don't want calls from this number.

Received a call about a survey for WAMU today.  This is the second one this week.  I did not participate, but I found this fraud warning on the Synovate website:  copy and pasted below.

Respondents have alerted us that a fictitious organisation posing as Synovate is soliciting respondents to take part in surveys which can result in financial loss.

All legitimate Synovate survey invitations come from email addresses using the domain name synovate.com.

If you have been contacted for a survey from an address using another domain name, please forward any information or queries to matthew.norris@synovate.com.

Synovate is actively working with American government agencies, the US Federal Trade Commission and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, to investigate and identify the source of the fraud.

More info about previous post.  I had my laptop and passport stolen last month, therefore I worry this is a fraudulent phone call.

I don't really give 2 craps if someone needs to "earn a living".  Annoying me at my residence is not the way to do it.  Further, I would love to know which company I do business with has contracted these [***].  I guess I will never find out since these [***] never say anything when I pick up the phone.  Sounds like their auto dialer is not set up properly.

I'm rude to just about anyone working for some corporation who calls my home unsolicited.  It's MY house and I don't want to be disturbed for any reason, not even to answer your stupid ass survey questions.

The DO NOT CALL list is exactly that!  Too bad the law doesn't think so.

I'm going to try because the DNC Registry is not getting them from calling me several times a day and night. Its been going on for the last six months and I dont have anything to do with Wa mu or capital one, or have any debts, I just want to be left alone. I would like only those i choose to call and use the service i pay for to be able to phone me. I don't like that people think they have the right to use your phone line that they don't pay for, interupt your life, and harass you into a survey or whatever. I want to thank the person who left this resource, and I hope it works.

I just received a call from 559-437-5359 and my caller ID said UNKNOWN.  I answered because its almost 10:30 pm and it would have awakened my husband had I left it to ring.  A young man asked if a male over the age of 21 was available to answer some market research questions about the state of our economy.  I asked him did he have any idea what time it was?  And he said they usually don't phone the east coast at night and this was done in error and apologized.

And just for the heck of it I just checked my caller id and 2 days ago I received a call from this same number and my caller ID identified it as synovate, so there is not a caller ID continuity and it is not showing up for everyone.  I didn't answer the earlier call and of late we have been getting a lot of research calls, which I don't answer as a rule.  

I am on the no call list also.

The number shows up as out of area with 559-437-5359.  I called 1 559 451 2820 and told them to put me on the do not call list.  The lady was very nice and apoligize.  It looks like WAMU BANK is very out members info.

They asked for me I told them I wasn't here. I am not late on any bills now so I asked to take a message and they asked when would be s good time to call back. I said a couple hours I'll wait and see if they call back. I am also on the do not call list!

This was on my caller I.D., a missed call, so I went to the internet to find out what the company was.  Surprise, I'm not the only one who got a call from them.
Why are we still getting telemarketing calls??  I've opted out already.

I got strange calls from 1-559-437-5359 many times since I opened my small business account two weeks ago. I thought it was a company hacker. How could they know my cell number, my name, my company name and my bank name. I got really upset at those people. Today they call me with a blocked call number and asked me if I am available to talk while I was driving on the freeway. WaMu is not supposed to discloure our customers information to those market research company.  Our bank account should be kept confidential by the bank.

They calls , but they don't want to talk to me after I admit my name. I suspect if any private detective agency for collecting debt or investigator. I just talked to WAMu. They denied that they know this company. This creepy company number is 1-559-437-5359

I just opened my business bank account with WAMU a week ago. Now I keep getting calls from Synovate corporate. The number shows 1-559-437-5359. First I didn't answer the phone because I am not familar with this long distance number. Finally I can't stand this number, so I answered teh call. A man wants to verify my name, after that he hung up the phone. It is very strange. Is this company a spy to detect our money in the bank? Why do they have so much time to call us? Why the bank WAMU sell them our information? I may should close my account in WAMU.

When I answer these calls, there is only an open line...no voice response...then my phone line is tied up for several minutes until there is a disconnect.

I just got a call on my cell phone.  Really makes me mad that they can call it - wish I knew how to block calls!
