My Dear Boy, you are sadly mistaken if you think that surveys are required to make business polite.  My company NEVER bothers anyone with unsolicited calls.  We treat our clients with respect and never bother them at home.  People who sign up for the DNC aren't concerned with whom you are affiliated; they simply want to be left alone when they are at home.  If we need something from a company, we will contact that company.  Businesses do not need you or your "telemarketing firm" to be successful.  Go to school.  You'll find jobs opening up for you.  Clean up your mouth and you'll people will respect you.

Unwanted call from Marketing company left no message

Just got a call, at 8pm at night. Person on the phone asked for my wife. And said they were with bank of America. I then proceeded to ask the guy if he knew what time it was... he said he was in Canada and the time must be different. I told him about time zones...apparently they don"t teach that in Canada???

As usual, we do not answer & check Caller ID later.  As is often the case, no message was left (They want a sneak attack).  These days it's either no message or an automated recording.  Caller ID says Maritz Research.  It must be Maritz Marketing Research, which is headquartered just west of St. Louis, MO. (I know the company and the area).  They started calling a few days ago.  We'll continue not to answer.  I expect that they'll have stamina, but so do we from plenty of practice.  I'll never dial an 800 number believing that it'll get me off a calling list.  If a company cared, it would have checked with the Do Not Call Registry.  I'm much too paranoid, and won't make the mistake of thinking that I'm so bright that I can figure every angle.

# was on my cell phone & I called back.  Got a recording stating that they were researching consumer opinions.  T hey also gave this # 8 you can call to request to be taken off their list 1 .800. 864. 8601.

Called twice in two days, hung up both times.

To "Maritz Worker":
If your company is legitimate, why are you calling people who are on the do-not-call list?  Why does your caller ID NOT reveal your identity?  If you have legitimate business to conduct, why do you not leave messages on answering machines?  Why do you continue to call over and over again?  Face it, you're just as much of a scumbag as any lame telemarketer, and based on what you've written here, you are also an [***], which is apparently a requirement to work in your business.  You and people like you make the world a less enjoyable place to live in.  Do you think you're somehow entitled to be a parasite on others to earn a living?  Try learning a skill that will contribute to society or at least give you another way to make a living, and maybe everybody will be happier, including you.

Received 2 calls from 1-571-431-1960, they didn't leave a message both times that called. If they really wanted to talk to me they would have left a message, Right? I looked up their website from above, still not familiar with this company!!

They're called Maritz Research, they have been calling all week only after 8PM (and since I've had the flu all week long they've been waking me up).

They always wait 'till the answering machine picks up before they hang up without leaving a message; that's the most annoying thing about them.

[***]...They keep calling and do not leave any msgs.   We've registered our no. to donotcall  but they keep calling.  It's harassment.

A woman called her company wanting to speak with the person that called Capital One on Sunday.  This is before 9am so not all our people were here.  I told her I had no idea who that might be.  She said she would call back as they were trying to [***] the customer service quality of the call. So add Capital One to the list of companies that Maritz Research (I'm assuming that's who it is from the other posts, I saw no text ID) assists with quality control.

I received several calls from this number here in VA; however, I either did not answer because I was not home or did not answer because I did not recognize their number.

i was in the shower and my farther answered the phone they wanted to speak with me about my company and how my company could do better with some things. they did not go in to detail with my farther but he did let them know to call back around 7. i was able to trace back my call to the maritz.com website but found it strange that they would ask my farther explicit questions about how my company ran there day to day events. when they call back i will post more details on the phone convo.

I have told your company not to call and you still continue to call my house. It is you and your company that are rude. Either that or you nothing but a stupid troll.
