wow I'm surprised to see how many other people continually being harassed by this company.  I called the automated system back one day and it told me I had an outstanding account (no details) and then it asked me to pay by credit card, yeah right!  This cannot be a legitimate business.  Is it not a form of harassment to be calling everyday even twice a day?

These people call on 1-604-530-8908 also 1-604-530-8904.
I use Vonage, and setup call forwarding to my cell after about 25 seconds, and the cell rings once, then if that isn't answered in 2 rings or so, it goes to the Vonage voicemail, rather than filling up cell voicemail. This prevents the cell voicemail from filling up and forcing me to use minutes and tie up the phone line to retrieve messages, I just download them from the Vonage website using the cell web browser and listen (similar to Apple iPhone visual voicemail)

The Wiggins dialer appears to be an automated system that dials first to see if the number is valid (fax tone if picked up). In my case, it gives up after 1-ring on the cell phone in every instance. After, I think a real person calls or automated message is left.

This could be from a Diamond parking ticket collection attempt, as a previous message noted.

Way back when I had an unpaid hydro bill, it went to Wiggins. The bill ended up on Equifax, which some banks check and will ask you to pay first if you want a loan. There is a 5-year expiry date on such items that make it to Equifax. Not sure if parking tickets can end up on Equifax, as it is not like you made an agreement made in advance to pay if you consume services.

YEP, keep calling me too. Just left a message on THEIR answering machine. Telling them that they owe ME money. See how they like it. Ba haha.

I've received several calls from these crooks over the past couple of days.  When I answered I got the same recorded message telling me that I "owe" $170 on my delinquent account but no other details were available but I was given the option of paying by credit card over the phone.  No option was available to speak with a rep.  This call made me double and triple check the standing of all of my accounts and I DO NOT owe anyone any money.

Has anyone actually reported this to the cops yet???

Wiggins, if you are reading this... I am doing my own investigation.  I'm an honest and hardworking person and am generally considered a moral person.  But if I find that this is a fraud I *will* track you down and you will be penalized heavily.  VERY heavily, you creep.

Don't take this as a threat, I'm not that stupid on a public forum.  Maybe I'm referring to penalties by the justice system.  That's my disclaimer.

Maybe the phone number you got from Shaw was given up by the previous people because they were getting the same calls

is this not considered harrassment.  i mean "crank calls", which is what i have been thinking they were, ARE a bit scary.  they actually asked for me and when my kid handed me the phone they hung up.  this classifies as a crank call, right?  

i just had a wierd thought.  maybe thier sourcing out behaviour patterns of when someones home and when their not depending on when you pick up the phone.

I received a few sporadic calls from this number previously and had ignored them.  During the past week and a half I received over a dozen calls from the 604-530-8904.  EVERY time I have pushed 4 to indicate they had a wrong number!!  Still was getting them.  Tried phoning the number back and just got endless ringing.  Found this site when I googled Wiggins Adjustment.  Phoned the 604-530-0211 listed and went through the automated options till I got press 0 for an agent....had me hold and eventually rang...gave me the message option as no one was available!!BUT gave me the option of getting assistance to transfer to another extention and that one went through to a REAL person!!  Told her I needed to have my phone number removed, told her why..she checked....they had my phone number attached to TWO different files, both with an address that wasn't mine and one I am not even sure exists in my city!!  She told me she would have my number blocked so it was not able to be picked back up (by the automated system) and that I may recieve one more call this afternoon before it went through.  Crossing my fingers and hoping this is the end of it!!!!!!!!

Hi there...just had the same experience as you...kept repeatedly pushing zero to receive assistance and after about the 4th time of ringing back that no one was available, someone answered. I politely explained the mistake they had made and the lady at the other end said they would have my phone number removed. Now after reading everyone else's comments I am concerned they may continue to call. Have you finally gotten rid of them?

Call 604-530-0211 and have them take your number off manually. They have errors in the system and can correct this. Took two minutes to reach them.

I had no idea. I thought I was the only one until today when I decided to google this frigin number! I got this website!

I have had these morons calling me for the last 6 mths, I get recorded messages on my answering machine, I pickup the phone and ge tthe recorded message.... I call the number but it says that the number  "is not in service"

I pressed zero for the agent. I spoke with an agent and she went in on me telling me I have an unpaid loan.. I told her that the person she is calling about is not me or anyone in the house with this phone number.
I told  her I have been getting calls for mths and am sick of it. I told her I saved all the messages on my answering machine. She told me that when an answering machine picks up it doe snot leave messages. I told her I would play my machine for her I have about 20 messages saved for the last 6 mths. I started playing it, and she saif I have taken your number off our list and hung up on me.

I am being harassed by Wiggins also.  I do not owe any money to anyone & I am an elderly widow.  I tried to
have Telus  stop the calls & subscribed to call screening but was told it was a cell phone number & they could
not stop the calls.  I don't need this harassment & don't know what to do now.  I have tried calling them but
can't get through for some reason.  I will phone the police next & see if they will help.   Benny

Call them during regular business hours and follow the prompts you will get to talk to someone. If it's not you, then the number will be removed. As stupid as it may seem to be getting calls over a parking ticket.. it is YOUR parking ticket..then pay it!! No one wants to actually pay these things but once it is in collections and you have been tracked down.. give it up. Collection Agencies are needed. Imagine if you owned your own business and gave somebody your services and they skipped out and didn't pay? You would most likely turn to a collection agency for help. It's legit and needed. It's annoying yes, but who hasn't called a wrong number?? It happens. I doubt they are out to get all of you and ruin your life by calling you. Fact of the matter is, if your the wrong person, they don't want to be wasting the time calling you anyways!

wiggins adjustment call 2 to 3 times a day for 1mo. now..its really very annoying...telling me that i have a debt to be paid and its already over due.and im wondering why i have that debt since i paid all my bills on time...these people are very non sense so sorry that im not affected anymore as long as i know that i did not owe anything from them.

wiggins calls upto 6 times a day in regards to someone who has not lived here for over a year.if it persists i will file at small claims.maybe then i'll have a response?

wiggins adjustment collection agency automated DAILY calls even though we punched in the number to let them know they have the WRONG person associated with our number! Got an actual person today and she was VERY rude! Complain to manager or your phone company!

the problem is they have AUTOMATED callers and they are calling the wrong people, we went through the correct steps to get removed from their 'list' and let them know we are not the person they are looking for yet they STILL keep calling! They were very rude when we finally got an actual person.
This is NOT just a matter of people trying not to pay tickets, its harrassment by this agency not ceasing to bother people who are NOT who they are looking for!

me too! Its so frustrating! I googled them today to see if I can get a number to call them becuase I still keep getting call and talked to a lady that started asking me a million questions it was ridiculous. SHe had some guy associated with my phone number and I'm not even a male obviously and I kept telling her I am not who she is looking for and would she please take me off their call list. She hung up on me!

The answer is that you fax wiggins and tell them to stop all calls to your number. then you just give them your correct address, only.
this is the only way as they are not allowed to keep calling that is why you can't talk to a person. it is against the law. so you do have to give them address, i did and it stop right away.

Numerous calls over a period of months, all machine-generated.  The company is in the collections business but like many others I see complaning about them here, we don't have any debts. People need to call or input to the Better Business Bureau on these folks - they are sitting there as BBB "members in good standing."  Only ten complaints on them have been made to the BBB in the last 36 months - get cracking and complain, folks! As well, if it's any use to you, the e-mail of their chief honcho is mgfraser@wiggins-adj.com and their fax number is given as (604) 530-4977 on the BBB site.  Their address is apparently 19985 68 Ave in Langley (or Surrey).
