I all it takes is a little sensablity, if you can come complain on a forum such as this, why not take the time to solve a problem or mistake if one has been made.
We aren't evil we are just doing are Job.
Ps. If it wasn't for collection agencies inflation would keep rising fast and faster we stabalzie the economy by eliminating bad debts.

How it happen, I moved into an apartment and my land line phone with me. Wiggans right away started calling myself for payment. Turns out it was the previous tenant that lived in the apartment that owed money. NOT ME!
I really want to go to Wiggans with a Lawyer and march into their office and demand to be taken to court. Just want them to look stupid in court.

- Frustrating replies to No debt| 1 replyHere’s my situation: Parked at Shoppers 5 and Cambie in Richmond. It’s free parking all around except one side, but it’s not clearly marked. I parked there three days in a row. On the third day I received a ticket on my wind shield. I called diamond parking to explain this. They said that I actually have three tickets. The first two tickets were written by proxy!. It wasn’t until the third day when I saw a ticket on my windshield did I realize that I was parked illegally. When I tried to explain this to the Diamond person on the phone, they said they mailed the first two tickets. The address they gave me was an old one and who knows if it was even delivered. I never received them. The woman got heated wth me and put me on a tow list. And now Wiggins is involved. And when I try to explain it to them, they won’t listen.
Point is: I would have paid the fine had I known I was parked illegally. Shoppers Drug Mart is free parking except the one side where it’s easy to assume it’s also free. Now there is a sign there that is more visible then before.

I searched it online and i saw many people get calls too and their as annoyed as me. This is a joke. I don't know how they even got my info!!!!

- Denny RegierI get calls 3 to 4 times a day, sometimes before 7:00 am, from Higgins Adjustments. The message (if I press "1") says I have a debt of $80.00 and if I want to pay it by mail I should send it in to their address in Langley, or I could pay it by credit card over the phone. There is no one to talk to. They do not say what this debt might be from. as far as I know I have no outstanding debts and I have received no invoices from anyone for this amount. I'm a prompt with paying of all my bills and pay monthly (in full) all of my CC invoices. I will try calling the 604 530 0211 number and see if I can get them to stop calling.

I've been receiving the automated calls for better than 2 years. I tried phoning a few times with much the same result as everyone else on this site. I had sent them the "letter" as suggested by Consumer Protection and still the calls continued. I persisted and finally found an email address Wiggins, info@wiggins-adj.com. And actually got a response, "It's simple, pay the $80.00 bill, and we'll stop calling."
I am now in contact with someone (Executive Manager, ya right!) via email. and again, I've asked him directly, by email, to: "stop the calls. It is not my debt and I will not pay it."

I've also filed a complaint with BBB, although they have responded to the other 40+ complaints that the company is doing just fine and the complaints are not valid. see http://www.bbb.org/mbc/business-reviews/colle ... 8647/complaints
I've specifically filed it as a service compliant and a harassment issue. We'll see what happens now.
If finally this doesn't work I will set up a repetitive email to both addresses (I wish I had hacker skills so it could as anonymous as their calls) and flood their system...- Call type: Debt collector
- Badge714 replies to DjDJ- Did you send them a letter certified, with confirmation return? If this is an out of statute debt, they can bug you up to a certain point. If it's not your debt & never was, what they are doing is illegal. I see they have never sent you a letter saying that you owe something. Phone calls don't count. Check the laws for your State.
