- Lonely no more!I used to come home from work and slump into a chair. No voice messages again. No one likes me. Then, one day, something magical happened. I came home to find a call from 604-530-8908. The person who left the message said that she wanted to talk to me! I looked this number up on the internet and found out that her name is Ms. Wiggins. I'm kinda shy, so I haven't gotten up the nerve to call her back yet. But man, she must really think I'm pretty hot!! She calls me, like, 2, 3 times a day and leaves messages that she wants me to call her!
That's right, I used to come home to one lonely existence. But with Ms. Wiggins's pretty voice to look forward to every evening - you can call ME, lonely no more!- Caller: My love, Ms. Wiggins

- LindaC replies to deb| 5 repliesI just emailed the head hauncho there and I will see if he gets back to me. I just said to take my phone number off as they have the wrong number and the person they are looking for I do not even know. They probably had this number before me.
I have experienced the samething, I press "4" and they say they will update their records and they call back in a few days. I have pressed that #4 about 50 times!!.
Hopefully this time it works. I tried to file a complaint with the BBB but it is one of those forms you have to fill out. There is no general email from them (that I saw) I will look back and see if I can. If I find the proper info, I will send it over - Linda - Alexis replies to LindaC| 3 repliesI just found their hiring process. They state on how they do not hire collectors that have worked at other agencies, they want to groom them. yeah that is probably why those employees are so dumb, as they do not know how collections is done, they think that Wiggins way is the right way. If they went on to any other collection agency, they would be fired.
Check out their hiring process. they make it seem that you need to have a good solid education and they teach you "code of conduct"
careers at wiggins.
As a general policy, Wiggins does not hire collectors who have worked for other agencies. The Company prefers to recruit, screen and train collectors according to its own highly successful model. Conversely, collectors who have been trained at Wiggins have no difficulty at all getting employment with other collection agencies. Many of Wiggins' collectors have gone on to management of other agencies and to the client side as credit executives.
The Wiggins hiring process is as follows:
1. A newspaper ad is run
2. Candidates resumes are faxed to the office
3. Resumes are evaluated for basic educational requirements
4. A member of Wiggins Senior Management personally telephones the candidate. This first contact is vital to assess telephone voice and personality.
5. Candidates are then invited to the Wiggins office. Prior to an interview, candidates write up to four computer-based profiling tests. These include:
- The Wonderlic Personnel Tests
- Service Personnel Appraisal System (customized for Telephone Collectors)
- Employee Reliability Inventory
- Comprehensive Personality Profile
Only after candidates have been screened in this way are they invited for an interview. All initial interviews are conducted by Senior Management.
Successful candidates are offered an Employment Contract that includes a six-month appraisal period and a Code of Conduct pledge that must be signed before training begins. Wiggins has utilized this recruitment model for the past four years.
Wiggins' commitment to an open, empowered employee environment has resulted in the company having one of the lowest employee turnover rates in the collection industry.
