This number is a British Columbia Number (Canada).  I reverse numbered the caller and find that they are unlisted # -- but a Telus customer.  If they call you again, complain to Telus Security Dept. and complain of harrassment.

I received three phone calls from this number 7/20/07, and two on 7/21/07.  i believe it is a phone card from England as the person using this number left three messages, and i know she lives in England.  I thought it was her new home number, but because you cannot call it back, it must be a phone card.

I get repeat calls from this number with what seems like every few weeks for the past few years.  (at my business)  Actually this is my second call this week.  

 They do the usual mumble and "can we verify this information for our records".  I usually hang up or question them to death as to what they want with this information and they typically hang up.

Your response makes total sense.  I just received a call from that number for the first time and I just bought and received a new Dell laptop.  I had to call about my order while it was being processed and the rep that handled my call said he would call me back to verify I received the laptop.  This could very well be Dell then.

604-550-7000 is a relay site for some sort of international call service, so when you see the number, it could be anyone anywhere! I have legit clients who call my office from overseas with this service and i have also got calls from the usual b.s. scam artists using the same relays. These guys also have other relay numbers all over Canada and the US. Sometimes my clients calls show as B.C., Toronto, New Hamshire, Michigen...All the same service

Same thing for me. I received a call from LONDON UK and it was 604-550-7000. I just realised that the call passed by Vancouver to arrive in Montreal. Wow...Electronic...what can we say...

I have received a call numerous times from this number 1-604-550-7000 through my cell number as well as my telephone number at home. They keep asking for my husband, and say that they are from telemarketing. I find this to be very annoying, as they keep trying to call and yet I always tell them that he is out of town! When I get a missed call from this number, there are no messages left, I want this to stop!

Interesting...  I recieved numerous calls from this number from a Dell returns office call center.  Some Phillipino chick with horrible english and a worse headset.  Thought I would search for it before I answered it.  That's who it was.  Maybe 1-800-SWEATSHOP "We make your calls for less!" or something.

I received a call from this number and it was about an international transaction made on my debit card which turned out to be an unauthorized transaction.

I got this call on my work line. A man said he was from a company called "Anderlease" (sp?). He asked if this was a business similiar to ours.

I received a phone call from this number on 10/12/07 at 1:19 p.m. requesting that I revalidate information the lady stated I gave earlier, when I asked when I had given information she stated that they were just re verifying.  I then asked when exactly I had been asked for the intial info and she stated that they had collected via other avenues but wanted me to verify what had been collected.  I then asked what the info was being collected for and she mumbled a "industry study".  Of course no info was verified and she was not thrilled when I asked if she would like the number to our Legal Department so that she could verify anything she wanted.

A call came in today from DELL from the Phillipines letting me know they shipped a replacement part for me.  CID was 604-550-7000.
