Same stuff as all the other posts.  2 calls from Cathy Rema, said I ordered some safety news letter and we need to pay up $299.00.  Neither myself or our procurement people have seen any invoices and I don't recall ordering anything from these people.  I found a letter in our files where I told them in 2010 to cancel a subscription to some newsletter that we hadn't ordered either.  Apparantly, these folks don't realize they are talking with a federal law enforcement agency here.  I wish them the best and in the mean time, these posts provide much needed background information about their activities.

They called me during work and said they will send a complimentary subscription to environmental compliance alert. Months later my company receives an invoice for $299. \We refused to pay threatened legal action. No word since then.

I received acall from Amanda asking me to pay for 94$ for the subscription of Supervisor's safety Bulletin from Progressive Business Publications. We never received these but she claimed it was verified with the post office that those were delivered to our business address. I told her I never authorized such subscription and she said my DOB was proof I did. She further said that Progressive Business Publications sent me an email. They got my email ad wrong! I told our Administrator about it  and she said she had the same experience. I called Amanda back and told her that our office have been a victim of this scam. I told her she needs to speak with our Administrator then she hung up.

It's very clear that it is a SCAM!@

SCAM. Do not give these vultures jack sh**. The fact that they have been pulling this scam for many, many years now and nobody has shut them down yet is a symbol for how f**** up the system really is. I cannot believe people actually work for these people and can go home at night and live with themselves. They are lowlife scumbag vultures who shouldn't even be breathing the same air I do. I hope the CEO of this company gets cancer of the worst kind.

watch out for kelly. progressive publications apparently got a temp answering our phone to agree to a free trial subscription that was never canceled. then kelly called and she's super mean, like old-school collection bully. she told me that i could only deal with her and not with the vendor. i researched it and settled with progressive directly. i returned kelly's call as a courtesy to let her know it was settled and she hung up on me.

I remember talking with a rep from PBP and she talked with me about a publication for foundation funding. During the entire conversation nothing was mentioned of a price or subscription fee or anything associated with it.We currently receive free publications so I didn't think much of it.  She asked for the day and month of my birthday, but again never saying it was to verify they could send me a bill. Thankfully I also handle the mail and saw they had sent an invoice for $240 and was absolutely furious. I found a customer service phone number and email address and I both emailed and called to cancel my "subscription" immediately. I will wait to see what happens.

I received a call stating that we ordered Selling advantage and we did not, I was told that I personally was placed in collection, When I shared with her that I never ordered this, this person stated that she was going to call back and ask for GM, I shared that she did not need to call back I would transfer her and she hung up.
This is a scam. I also shared that I was filing a BBB complaint.
