As the owner's daughter and office manager, I can assure you I treat all callers with the utmost respect and courtesy.  However, when I screen the calls as instructed and am told to "Just do my job and put him on the phone" I most certainly do my job and terminate the call.

I have been getting calls from this number. Obviously it is an auto dialer, however the company can program which numbers to dump from the database after so many hang ups. There is also an exclude list that they can add your number to.
I answer the phone for our business and am constantly getting marketing calls asking for my husband. He is really 'never' in the office, but when they are told that they just click off the call.
My husband did play a horrible trick on one company that would just not stop. When the telemarketer asked for him; my husband asked if they were calling from the funeral home to discuss the arraignments. When they identified themselves, he said, 'Noooo, he's dead! We found him hanging this morning!' The caller got a really bad shock, BUT we never got a call from that company again! Normally, I would not condone this behavior, but after the umpteenth hang up call and then get someone.

Wow that's real professional.  Look here lady owner's daughter or not and this goes out to all gatekeepers as well!  If you have nothing to do with why a telemarketer is calling you then in fact it is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS and at least for me personally I do not allow non-decision makers to make decisions for their boss PERIOD!  So get a grip!  I hope you get 100 sales calls a day!!!!!!!!!!!

Very rude. When told the owners were out of the office would not leave number or information. Started raising her voice when asked about the company she represents. Hung up the phone on the receptionist.

Hangs up as soon as we say 'hi' or sometimes there is someone requesting to talk to me 'Dave' while my real name is 'David' and as soon as I answer 'speaking' they hang up again!

Calls come in and as soon as I answer it hangs up.  Strange.

These heffers called me and when I answered...click! So, I decided to take it upon myself to find out who it was..."the number you are dialing has been DISCONNECTED! Huh...wtf!

Look at the pot calling the kettle black, Mr. Sales Person - telling her she's unprofessional in such a professional way!  If the boss says he/she's not interested in speaking to cold-calling sales people, then we do what we're told and tell whoever is calling that he/she is not interested.  I'm sorry if that hurts your little feelings, but that's life.  I've got a grip, thank you very much.  And it's on the phone, as I place it back in the cradle after telling your type that we are not interested.  I do get several calls a day, and each one is told the same thing - Not Interested.  I get paid to tell you "no" - and I enjoy every minute of it.  So call all you want, get your knickers in a twist, get bent, watch out for falling houses - whatever.  Just don't think you're hurting my feelings by hanging up on me or being rude.  I could care less.

This is a company who wants to colledct your outstanding receivables for you.  It is extremely high pressure and I suspect their collection methods wouldn't pass the collection laws statutes in most jursidictions.  Talking to him is interesting because you can get a good lesson in how not to sell to most markets.

Repeate calls from this number EVERY day to a business.  I called for Heather Norman at 877-294-9707, they weren't the friendliest of people stating that "Business are exempt from the Do Not Call Lists".... That's fine... But if you CALL ME - SAY SOMETHING!  Don't just hang up... they stated our number was programmed into an automated dialer and sometimes it screws up.  (( Real Professional People we are dealing with here.  ))  We have their address.... it would be a damn shame for something to happen to their facility. I get calls from this number on my business phone and cell phone and them mumble something and hang up.  I keep getting called from this number--just recently--and when I call it back I get the 'please leave your numeric message, beep beep beep'  They call and call, but I don't know who they are.
