They keep calling my HOME phone, NOT A BUSINESS!!!
Here is out to get them fined big time.
REPORT THEM TO THE FTC (do not call) each and every time they call.

If you are one the donotcall list, REPORT REPORT REPORT.

FTC can only work if YOU report them every time. They may even be put in jail or fined BIG bucks!

hahahaha!

keep getting calls multiple times of day from 614-848-111.  when you call the # back- the number is diconnected.  Convient, huh?

I have no idea what company this is.  They will not idenify themselves.

I have to answer all calls and sometime they are not on the line- then the # hangs up.  Today I had 1 hang up and the second call- they were already talking before I had a chance to put the phone to my ear.  Very annoying voice.  I told them the boss was not in and tried to talk to them but was hung up on.  I have already told this company to quit calling.

I guess the FCC will be the next to be contacted.

daily early morning calls with no voice or message, was beginning to wonder if it was a 'hacker' to use my phone for long distance or to add time to a pay-per-call

today i called the phone number and it is 'not in service' - hmmmmm

i have vonage and cannot block single numbers :-(

i'm getting tired of this... with the FTC follow thru with a complaint where caller isn't talking and thus not selling anything?

and.... what exactly is the gain for the caller?  mind boggling!

Well that explains why you have been a telemarketer for 20 years! You don't sell anything because you are a rude idiot and go online to post comments all day!

I will be calling heather shortly. i was called by this number and HUNG UP ON. you NEVER call someone and hang up on them. Thats rude.

ALL TELEMARKETING SHOULD BE OUTLAWED..  

Its not safe to do business over the phone with anyone who cold calls you anymore.  Too many scams are from telemarketers.

When you as a telemarketer refuse to stop calling as requested by those of who are required to screen calls - that also screams SCAM! because that is what scammers do - they call over and over again.  That is harrassment and it is illegal!    

IF whatever product or service you are attempting to sell -Coping an attitude with the staff will not help your chances of a sale.

IT DESTROYS ANY CHANCE YOU HAVE OF EVER MAKING A SALE.  

I for one have a very healthy distrust of sales reps in general.  I work too closely with the sales dept and know they cannot be trusted.

To all of you that ask for the "owner" or try to act like you know him.  A good assistant knows all his friends and business associates. 99% of the time it is not him you want to talk to.  He usually has someone that handles whatever you are calling about.  Owners are not usually in, they have other people to run their company.  When I ask what the call is about and if you would tell me I would be very happy to connect you to the person you would need to speak with.  But when you call you already have an attitude on your end of the phone.  I guarantee I make a lot more money than you do and the reason I am paid so well is because I can keep calls like you from getting through and no if I am not in you will not get through to him because all his calls go to my voice mail.  You really do need a "real job" or a different attitude when you call I am always nice and always tell the caller that I will find the right person to help them but then I get an attitude or rudeness from the other end of the call.  Plus I keep a list of numbers that call and the telemarkets that are rude.  When I see that number again I just don't answer the phone or I remind you of the our last conversation and how that ended.  Be nice, tell us what you are calling about.  We know everyone needs to make a living but don't try to act like you are more than you are when you call.  I actaully had one person that was so rude and the owner was actually in and he got on the phone told him that because he was so rude to me (his secretary) he would never do business with that company and we are a multi-million company..their loss.

Found out when I called to be removed from the list that Heather Norman no longer works there and that the company is going out of business so calling this number is no longer valid to be removed from the list.  I was told that the company gets phone numbers from various business sites like D & B, etc and that to officially have our number removed from lists it is best to contact D & B and various other sites.

A gentleman called this morning and asked for the "owner."  I always screen these types of phone calls because 99% of them are nonsense anyway.  I asked his name and he replied Jeremy Starkey; then I asked what company he was calling from and he said AmerAssist.  But when I asked why he was calling, he hung up...and you're how old?  These people are soooo stupid, do they honestly think I'm just as stupid to put the call thru?  I keep of list of these idiots and when they call back again, I say "oh you're the person that hung up on me last time."  I like how they think they're being "anonymous"; did they ever hear of caller ID?  Do yourself a favor and quit wasting my time because you'll NEVER get thru to the owner.  There's a reason why calls are screened because the owner doesn't want to talk to you morons either!

I was going to say, screening out the unwanted calls (including telemarketing calls) IS part of her job.

How about you get a real job and stop calling us...if we want your product or your annoying sales pitch we'll call you! Hold your breathe and wait for the call...

For an owner of a company...you think you would know how to spell SELL.  This just proves you are an idiot.  And telemarketers don't love it when they have to be persistent, they actually get pissed off which I LOVE doing to them!

Lord have Mercy when I find the punk who calls me being rude on the phone! We know where he works and when we go to Columbus Ohio, I will make a concerted effort to reach this man. If I do, he will need much more than a smart ass mouth to get out of my reach. All his buddies and cops will be required to save his ability to speak again. Is this a threat...? I guess it is, only if I can find him and catch him at work or even at home. If I do, I promise I will see to it that this little [***] eats through a straw for the rest of his life. I have the perfect solution to all of the people who find the time to [***] about being bothered by telemarketers. Step one, if it bugs you enough to waste more of your free time writing a blog then maybe you should find a job other than a secretary where your job doesn't entail taking calls from telemarketers. Step two, if step one isn't an option than deal with it like the rest of us and do your shity job and collect your pay check. Step three shut up and refer to step two.
