I answered the phone, it was one of those calls about lowering your credit card interest rate. Then I got the announcement to wait for somebody to come on the line. Somebody picked up, greeted me, then I very politely advised him that I was on the Do Not Call list. He immediately hung up on me.

Called my cell phone  - threatened that I have been warned about my credit cards and this was my last chance to resolve it.  I hung up.

Got this call warning me "this is my last and final notice to lower my credit card rate" BULL S--T,
PEOPLE, DO NOT PRESS NUMBERS ON YOUR PHONE WHEN ASKED. THEY CAN RIP YOU OFF! This is a scammer!

They called me Jan 21st   " VERY important message "   My number is on DONOTCALL.GOV list so I reported them for violating the law. I hope they will get their fine

They have been running this same scam for years.  They just keep changing phone numbers.

So tired of getting these calls. Am on DO NOT CALL but doesn't seem to matter.

Belle,  it does not matter because these are scammers who are calling you.  They do not honor the do not call list or follow the law.  Nothing the DNC can do.

Got my FOURTH call this month (same recording, different phone number each time) from these jacka$$e$. This time I was ready: Had my air horn nearby and when the REAL person answered, gave them a good blast!
I am on the National Do Not Call List and have told them that until I was blue in the face. I even pressed their "optout" button! But, they never get the message...but just maybe they got MY message this time!

The Feds cannot handle this crap, so it is up to the individuals to do it. Rather than spend thousands on an attorney, etc, a simple airhorn only costs $5 and should at least keep THAT scammer from calling again!

Just DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION, especially a credit card number, as these people are the lowest of the low when it comes to deception, deceit and unlawfulness!!

I recently got a new cell phone number and I have been receiving calls from creditors for a past user ever since. I added this number to my Android app "Blocker" v4.93.

Called my cell. I am also on do not call list. Sick of these constant scams.

Just recieved a call and they hung up and did not leave a message. I dont answer any number that I do not know who it is. But good idea on the blowing the horn thing and the whistle. How do I put them on the Do Not Call List?? But I guess it dont matter as the use a different number all the time, as I have read.

called my cell phone went to voice mail for some time,  then they hung up.  I am on the do not call list.  They use minutes which cost $$$ to me.  The FCC is  no help.

Now this is scary.  They called my main number at work, then called my cell when I didn't answer my work. phone.

Same concern as everyone else, scammer asking for credit card info, last 4 of SS and your zip code stating that the account is flagged and they cannot lower my interest rate because they need $800 on card...bunch of bull...also, I have do not call on my phone registered.

I also told the person that I was on the do not call list, however not so politely.  next time i hope to have an air horn available.  Fishing I am guessing
