Received call from this number, no message left.  Block this one.

Called on Nov. 16, 2017 at 12:12 PM. They hung up when my answering machine picked up. I always screne all calls. Since I started screening calls and blocking numbers These scammer calls have cut back from several a day to 2-3 a week.

Many calls from Telefund, they never leave a message. Reported Telefund (6172927701) to the Do Not Call Registry, hopefully others will do the same.

The Do Not Registry will do nothing with your complaint since this caller is not required to screen against the DNC list before calling.

Repeated unwanted calls is harassment. Take less than 5 min. to file a complaint online with the Federal Communications Commission at https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us

Which will do no good because this is a legal call.  I see you didn't read the page telling you what the DNC covers and doesn't cover.  You could take the time today since it was posted right here on this very page.

I've done that three times and I still get 2 calls a day. I have complained on Do Not Call registry. I don't know how to get them to stop.

You have to tell the CALLER to stop.

Caller ID noted: MASSACHUS CALL  ...  Decided to answer (not recommended for unfamiliar #'s of course), nothing but a disconnect/dial tone was heard. Others here say this is a charity outreach service - good as any - blocked.

Sounds to me like they raise donations for progressive organizations & have never had luck leaving voicemails (makes sense) so have a policy of not leaving msgs.  They called me on behalf of Southern Poverty Law Center, who I do donate to. He seemed very polite & legit, but I still asked him to add me to their Do Not Call list.

Yes, they raise one or two cents of every dollar they take in for the charity.  The rest they pocket for themselves.
