Started to receive calls from this number a week ago. They often make three rings and disconnect. I tried to pick up on the second ring but all I could hear was a hang up click. If my research is correct this is the company calling: http://www.telefund.com/home.html - "our mission has been to raise funds and build support for progressive causes and candidates." I guess I am on their list. They just decided to annoy me first :)

Receive this call a lot! Usually 2-3 times a day. They never leave a message and I when I do answer they hang up. I can't see how they would possibly raise any funds for anyone that way!

I have emailed them to remove my number from their list. We will see!

I also received two calls on May 30, 2007.  They hung up both times when I answered.

Didn't want to leave a message for me, when I told them I wasn't home.

They call me ALL THE TIME.  At least once a day, sometimes twice.  Sometimes the caller ID says "Telefund" and sometimes it says "Massachusetts."

They never once have left a message.

They're  calling all the time.  Don't leave messages or say anything when I do answer in person.

Multiple daily miscalls.

i called them back, and they said if you leave a message they will put you in the do not call list.....

Called me at 8:15 on a Sunday night...I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.

Received this call twice in the last week.  Both times I didn't answer & they didn't leave a message.

they called me today.  never heard of them before.  they didn't leave a message.

So far they've called me twice today, 5:03PM and 6:38PM!  They never leave a message, but they continue to call at least twice a day!

I noticed a call today that I missed at 12:40, Friday at 3:28pm, Friday June 15, Tuesday June 12 at 8:25pm. I have now saved them on my cell as "Telemarketing". Makes life easier. Thanks.

I believe it's People For the American Way (PFAW).  If you've ever done any election protection or voter registration type activities, you're likely on their list.

Got it! I support PFAW, just not their contracted fund raisers' techniques.  Perhaps talking to people would accomplish the task better than hanging up on them.
