They called wanting my mother and wouldn't tell me what it was about saying it was a personal matter. I told them I was power of attorney and they still wouldn't give me any information. I told them then you call her cell phone not mine.

A guy called MY BOSS from this number saying it was a personal matter and that I HAD to call him back! And I've never had a Capital One account. This is highly illegal!

They're just trying to get your personal info. They gave me the last 4 digits of "some" card that was not any of mine.They gave me some fictitious dollar amount owed in which I do not owe. I told the caller to get a life and I hoped his children were proud of him. NEVER give anyone your personal info over the phone. Beware.

That number just keeps calling my cell phone.  I don't answer, but it doesn't seem to deter the morons.

Getting daily calls from this number. So annoying.

They've called my cell phone four times since 8/1, left one message to call back on their third call, but no name/reason/business.  No-one but family have the number to my cell

I have capital one credit card but pay off the balance every month. This is an annoyance and the calls come constantly on my land line. 8 calls in one week.

636-410-9139 and 636-410-9130 have called me numerous times EVERY day for months!  I just go so disgusted with the calls that I answered, "WHO are you, and WHAT DO YOU WANT?"  They were looking for some guy and had my number for him.  The caller would not tell me who he was or what company he was with, but he said he would remove my number as the contact for the male he was trying to reach.  He said he "had business" with this man.

They are a debt collector...one of their clients is Capital One.  They have many clients.

friend is a liar the site is a scam he probably works for them

"Friend" is most likely lying, but the site is not a scam. The site allows people like that to post and we can then expose their lies and let others see what kind of person is scamming them.

Just got a call from this number and they wouldn't tell me what they were calling about until I gave them the last 4 of my social security number and my date of birth for security purposes. I asked them what they were exactly and all he said was that they were a client service trying to reach me. I told them that I have never heard of them and I don't feel comfortable giving out my personal information. The guy politely said he understood the concern, wished me a good day, and hung up. I immediately blocked the number afterward. They called me twice in a span of a few minutes, the second time I picked up. I am on the national do not call list and I am still getting calls from people like this.

These fools thought they could call and hang up when I answered. I called them back 60+ times and each time insulting all of them until they stopped taking my calls and finally BLOCKED ME. Monitor and record that. It's too bad, I was having fun harassing them to see how they liked being called for trivial junk. I don't think I will hear from them again. It only took less than 10 min for them to get so upset and block me. Now we all can have a nice day.

Very rude guy named Jared, demanding that I tell him my name. I refused to answer and he got very upset.

Gotten a call from 636-410-9139 today around 3:22pm est and I pick up they claim I have a debt with some company that I know for a fact it is completely pay for in full. So I decided to hang up on them.

Bill collectors work with several CC companies.  My Mom is in a nursing home, Not real sure what planet she is on half the time.  She owes money to Citi Bank, But ALL her money,SS and now Medicaid as well are paying her bills to be where she is at!  They simply can't suck blood from a turnip.  But they keep trying.  My number is the last one they had so they keep harassing - like I could pay her bills even if I wanted to!  And thankfully, I don't have to!

Barbie, sorry to learn of your mom's health.  If she is unlikely to return home, perhaps a bankruptcy could address her old debts.  Hope all goes well for both of you.
