I get calls every day from this number. They are a debt collector for Wells Fargo and Bank of America. I was able to consolidate my credit card debt of $68,000 with someone else but they keep calling. I don't know what to do.

Well reading helps.  I believe I posted the solution to your problem on page 2, although if you really do have that much debt you may want to declare bankruptcy.

This comment is fake. Capital One has nothing to do with this number.

Received a call from this number. Answered once and they said they were collecting for Capital One. Had an Auto Loan through that I co signed on. Was paid in full last year but they continue to call. I called Cap One and they have no Idea why this company is calling since I have a zero balance. Pain in the [***] but blocked as per the norm.

Asked if I was "so and so". I thought he said my name so I stupidly said yes. Calling about a Capital One account which was overdue, about $700.  I said wrong person. He asked if I was born in 1990.  Nope. Now call blocked.

Has called every single day for the last 2 months, no voicemails. Blocking number.

This number called me 14 times over the past week. I finally called them back and they said they are Client Services. When I asked them what clients do they service they said they couldn’t give me that information. Then they said they need my social security number to proceed. This is a scam. If it was a legitimate company they wouldn’t have any problems telling me who they represent. I’ve reported them to the FTC and FCC.

If you had read the previous posts you would have known where to report them.  The FCC does not have anything to do with debt collectors.

Just called here. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Caller ID said 'CLIENT SVCS INC'. They have been calling me every day for about a month using 800 521 3236. Now apparently they're using this number. They never left a message there either. They are a debt collector. Every time I've answered calls from debt collectors they've been looking for someone, other than me, who used to have my number. So I just don't deal with it anymore. I block their numbers. I know for a fact  that I have no debts and I don't have time to waste trying to convince them they've got the wrong person.

I called up Capital One not too long ago and they said this number is not affiliated with their company whatsoever

Keep asking for me , but they do. Or tell me why, when asked

Similar experience with these guys.  Ive been in chapter 13 since my divorce and they just started calling me 6 months ago.  Ive given them my attorneys information but apparently have not contacted them.  I'm guessing that they purchased one of my old accounts thats listed in my BR and think they are going to scare me into doing something.  But they call everyday, and I'm documenting all of this.  I'm sure the recording of me giving them my attorneys information was "mysteriously" lost.  Ive had friends do the dept collection ting and they will do whatever it takes to get you to pay since most of the time they live off of the commission.  If they were a little nicer over the phone and didn't break the laws so often, I'm sure they would do a lot better at collecting

They have called constantly however since I don't know Client Services I don't answer.  Never leave a message which usually means a scammer.  What good does is it to be on No Call List.

Being on the DNC list does a lot of good. It tells legitimate telemarketers not to call you. However, it doesn't apply to charities,  political calls, or surveys and of course scammers completely ignore it. Try a call blocker if you get many unwanted calls.

man these guys call me at least 2 or 3 times a day!! this is really getting so irritating!!
