Called and hung up

We received 3 hangup phone calls within 15 minutes.  The first two calls were "unknown" and the third call was from 646-453-1349.  I tried to return the call but the line was busy.

We just got two calls from them so I googled it and low and behold I found all these posts. My husband answered and when the guy asked if he worked for a government agency, my husband said yes, the CIA (which he does not), the guy instantly said man you better go and hung up. Worked like a charm for us! Just very annoying!

i get these calls every day and no one is on the line   i purposely called the @ back and the line is busy.  i have signed up for do not call so i cannot understand how this happens.   i am a senior citizen and sometimes have to run up the stairs to answer my phone..very dangerous for me.

Just another of many annoying scam phone calls I've been getting lately.  I don't know if I'm more mad at these jerks, or at the phone companies and regulators who don't shut these operations down.

It does indeed belong to Paetec  Communitions,Inc  From  up  state  NY  tellercommunitions  company  they  sell  tellermarketing services  to  anybody  then  protect  them they  ask  you  to  send  them  police  reports  or  anthing  like  that  they  have people  all over  the  states there  customer service  877-340-2600

and...calling 212-260-0070 to be removed (Central Marketing) might help... but I was informed that they are a survey company and they do not fall under the guidelines of the Do Not Call List....so, the best thing any of us can do is call and raise hell with your state senators...your atty general..and whoever else you can think of where someone will draft a new law stopping these unwanted and unnecessary calls....

I agree this is ANNOYING.....

Same as all the rest of you guys,,,,they call all week, up till 10pm. no one anserws when you pick up,,,caller ID says New York

It is a market reasearch firm. I just picked up the phone and told them to take me off their list now. It seemed to work. If you dont pick up they will keep calling and calling

646-453-1349 called Saturday afternoon and knew my address; woman said she wanted to ask me a few questions. I said no and hung up.

Just got a call from the 646-453-1349 number.  Glad I googled it.  I called the 212 number to have it removed.  He probably wrote my number in the air and said "Yeah, we're removing it".  We'll see.  I think we should ALL call that 212 number at the same time and block them up for a while.

This number calls every 20 minutes each evening.  No one responds to greeting.  We are on the national do not call list.

I'm relieved to see that it was not only me.  They called me too and would not answer when spoken to and just hung up.

Experienced same problem with the multiple calls per day, with noone on the other end.  I called the suggested phone number (212-260-0070).  I explained to the person that answered that I wouldn't mind talking to someone but there is never anyone there.  He apologized, and offered to remove me from the calling list.  He was extremely helpful and curtious, and he informed me that it would only take 30 minutes to remove me from the list.  Thanks for the tip!

Keep recieving calls from 646-453-1349 every day for the past 3 days...

Called 4 times in 3 days. I called 212 260-0070, asked if that company had been calling. What state he asked? Texas I replied. Yes, have been calling Texas, he said. I requested my TN be removed. He said yes he would remove my TN, "takes about a half hour."

I didn't even know one could report this type of thing. Three times a day for the past five days, all hours.

we're on the do not call registry so why it is this number calls so many people that are registered. The calls are 15 minutes to an hour apart, something needs to be done about this.

Yup, they've called 3 times in the past hour or so. How annoying. I'll try to call the 212 number tomorrow.
