How do you call block a number?

Have called 3 days straight, leaving no message, comes up unavailable. I called back using my cell phone which shows restricted, and got a recording of some survey company who claims they aren't selling anything, somehow I don't believe that....

Called at 6:07 pm.  Have had multiple calls over the last week or so.  The a$$hole just kept telling me "they were not a telemarketer" when I POLITELY asked them to remove my number.  Then the P.O.S. just hung up on me.  I believe they are getting me through my add'l Vonage line which is associated to a business.  I just added that to donotcall.gov.  If I can find them somehow, I WILL be calling them and getting them to stop.  The poor unfortunate soul that next calls me from this place will get an earful of expletives that would make a Marine blush.  If they are really a "surveyor" I'm the flippin' Queen.

I talked to a live person at the number who apologized for the jerk haning up on me and she said I would be removed.  I don't buy it but whatever.  You can bet I will call them back 3 times for every phone call I get.  PErhaps I will invent a "project" for them to work on and call their sales department.

I have received several calls from this # over the past few weeks.  It ranges from all hours of the day.  The last call being last night (5/29) at 9:30 pm.  I don't answer calls from #s that I don't know, and they have never left a message.  I am also on the do not call lists.

Numberous calls from this number today.  Have not answered, and they have not left a message.  Like many of you, I don't answer unrecognized numbers and figure they'll leave a message if it's important.

For the last several days we get a phone call with no caller ID except for the Number 646-465-6665.  I do not answer calls from people with no caller ID.  How do I stop these calls?

I have been receiving calls from this number since Memorial weekend. They call (at least) once a day, it's now June 6. I've never been home when they call, but today they called at 9:37 p.m.! This has been freaking me out! I intend to call Cingular tomorrow and try to get to the bottom of this. Enough already! ...I'm so glad I "googled" this number!

Called multiple times ON MY CELL PHONE, but found some info on www.whocalled.us.  The company is Universal Survey and they can call to "survey" you, even if you are on the do not call list (because they are not marketing to you).  There is some suspicion that they are turning around to market something after the survey.

The corporate number in NY is 212-391-5243.  If the person who answers says you must take the call and listen to the survey before they can remove you from their list, ask to speak to a supervisor.  Also, if you take a call from the survey number, immediately ask to speak to a supervisor and have your name removed from the list.

Keep getting the 646-467-6665 calls. Read someone's comments that Universal Survey can be reached at 212-391-5243. Called them and told them to take my name off their list or I would contact my state and NY state Attorney General Office. I'm also calling my telephone service provider and tell them to contact Univeral on my behalf as I feel this is telephone harrassment since I told the caller several times to take my # off their list.

Hey...there's this comedian that used to work for this company...Universal Survey. Check out his blog (http://kidliam.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_kidliam_archive.html) and the Sept 21 or 22 entry on this...funny! AND I've suggested he turn our frustration into a Borat style Comedy Central deal to get this SOB's to stop calling!

OH, one more thing, my telcom said to call the FCC Complaint Division at 888-252-5322 and your state's Public Utilities Commission. They can make things unpleasant for Universal.

These people are harrassing us with the constant calls - which I do not answer but let go to answering machine -- then they call back in just a few minutes.   I am tired of this.  Wish we could stop it!!!!!   The same goes with many similar calls from Newark, Deleware, the Dish Network, etc.  Too bad they cannot be blocked, like email addresses can!

Called and hung up when I answered.  Plus, I've been on the do not call list from the day it was implemented.  highly annoying

I traced this phone # to a company in NY, NY called Universal Survey; they have a website; no email to contact them; but phone #; in the news section of their website they state they have relationships with ABC, NBC, CBS networks; after contacting the networks, they have never heard of this company; be very suspicious if you receive a call from the #646-467-6665; when they call my number they either hang up right away or speak in Spanish; I don't believe this is any where near a reputable company......

Got a call from 646-467-6665.  I'm on the Do Not Call list, so I have no idea who or why they would be calling.  I didn't answer.  The call is coming from New York and I don't know ANYONE in NY.  Thank God for Caller ID!

And to ROB who suggests to record a message and put it on your answering machine - I have already done that!  I thought I was the only one with such a devious mind!

Got a call from 646-467-6665 this evening just after 5pm with no message and again at 8:15pm when I answered and someone hung up.  I was pleased to find this website to find out who it was, however, now I have to figure out how to make them stop calling.  How do these people and organizations get our blocked/private phone numbers?

They have called everyday this week well after 9:30pm We have asked them everyday this week to stop calling. Tonight i asked to speak to the supervisor. I asked him who they where he sai Universal Survey in New york City, I asked him his name he said Kurt Andio. I asked if he knew it was illegal to call after 9pm he said they could call till 9:30pm i reminded him it was 9:43pm after that he refused to answer any more questions and hung up.

I suggest you call Keith Strassberg, Executive Vice President and let him know about there continally harresment and illegally calling before 8am or after 9pm.
