I respond as well they ask me for a credit report and emailed them back trying to get information no response. This is a scam I believe as well.

I received the same email.........there isn't any info on this bogus company.

I really wanted this job.. And after i introduced my credit number and security number on the site they gave me, I realized that they could withdraw money from my account anytime, so I had to freeze it. The e-mail was signed by a so-called "Erica Rodriguez". Be careful!

I got this same email.  When I saw they wanted a cc, I pulled my score from a site I know and trust and sent that to them.  I hadn't had any response since I replied this afternoon.  When I looked up the address in my area....there was a street name similar.  When I looked it up in my old home town, Chicago, I was able to verify the address

lol. i got the same message. then i told them to go [***] themselves.

I responded to a craigs ad in louisville ky.. got the same email expect different name at the end.. It sounded to good to be true because they are telling me I am quilified when I never sent my resume.. All i sent was "where is this office located?".. It amazed me that I was quilified when I hadnt even said anything.. I did NOT go to the credit thing.. Im not willing to risk identidy left.. Please be aware people.. If it sounds to good to be true... prob is.. here is the email that was sent to me...

After you submit all required information, their company will show your personal report. Then, you will email me your reported credit score, a daytime phone number, and your availability to schedule an interview.
Do not email me your entire report, as it will most likely contain private information. If you have a lower than expected credit score, it will never prevent you from a position with us. I had a pretty low score when I started.



If you don't wish to send in a recent credit check, unfortunately we will need to speak with the second choice.

I applied for a Laborer position in Ft Collins CO.  I received the same letter from the Swilman Corp.  Don't ever give your SS number to anyone.  Only allow a company to have your SS number if you are hired.

i also recieved this email response.  Once i saw they requested a credit check from a site, i knew it was a scam.  So i replied back to them that i would be forwarding the information to the appropriate authorities,  and they should feel ashamed of themselves, there mom and grandma would dis approve!!!   LOL I get really angry when people do this kind of crap!

I got the same email as everyone else only with a different name . They sound like true scam artisit there is no way I am emailing my info to anyone!

I got the same exact email response after I responded to an add in Baton Rouge, LA.  This seems to be a nationwide or at least regional scam.  JobSeekers beware.  What lengths will immoral people go to to scam people seeking an honest living?

Of course it is a scam by these paid credit monitoring services to trick you into signing up for credit monitoring services.

Report them to the FTC immediately.

No potential employer is going to refer you to go to a paid credit reporting service with monthly fees for credit monitoring services.

Employers will run the credit check themselves! . And only after you have been personally interviewed and they are considering hiring you.


There is only 1 legitimate source you can get your yearly free Annual Credit report

I too responded to an ad from Craigslist.  I got the same message as everyone else except my e-mail was from a Page Carter and the company was called Majison, LLC.  I have gotten several other e-mail responses to job offers on Craigslist and they also want a credit report.  I agree this is very sad.  I am one of those people that have been looking for a job for a year.  These scammers should be stopped.  It isn't right for us honest people out there.

The kicker that tells you this is utter garbage is in their very first statement of the letter..

HOW did they determine this being I never sent them anything but an email asking if the position was still available??!?!

The next thing that gave them away was the amount of money they were willing to pay for the position! Totaly NOT what one would or should expect given the area that I live in.

Wow! This is the same exact e-mail I received from Amanda Snyder. I was almost duped too and I have a low tolerance for this crap as well seeing I really am looking for a job due to me relocating. This sucks that Craigslist is not more secure than this.

I received an e-mail after applying for a postion on Craigslist and responded with my credit score because I have been out of work for 4 months and need a job.  I was charged for the credit report and had to call my bank and put in a fraud complaint.  It is absolutely ridiculous that you have to fill out employment applications on the internet.  You have no idea who you are responding to even when the site and posting appear to be legitimate.  Years ago you went into a company asked for an application, filled it out and handed it back to a real person.  At least you knew the company existed, now you have no idea.  With unemployed being so high, how do you go about getting employed?  There is no way companies can review all the e-mails they receive. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about finding a job.
