It's a scam, if you entered your credit information, your options are to contact your bank and let them know that you think you are a victim of identity theft, they generally know how to go about fixing it.

I recieved the same thing when I responded to the baton rouge ad on craigslist. I did not go on the report site, I went to another site and I sent my scores to them like a dumbass! I did not send anything else. I put in so many applications from craigslist that I thought it actually came from them. Unfortunately, I was scammed. My credit is bad anyway. so they can't get nothing from me.

I did the same thing you did! And nothing but snother email from the same people, but the wording is different. I knew right away something was wrong. But good thing I didn't fill out their 'recommended' site or I really been screwed!

I also received the same message as Kaye McKay!  Truly, there are many of us looking for work and this is lower than low!  I did not respond to the credit check as it caused a red flag in my head.  Glad I checked it out further.  Thanks to all of you who have posted your comments.  Mine was from Silman Corp, a Monica.  Go bend Silman!!

OMG! I got the same massage I'm in Cali and I got it from Diane Grant. This is the second one in two days the other was from another company. And I didn't reply to them because I couldn't bring up a search on the web. I got into the habit because I don't want to be scammed.

How do we know we can trust looking for a job through craigslist.com when 9 out of 10 are scams. We are honest people out there looking for a way to ride out this recession and we can't trust anyone. Here's are a few things I do in my search for a job hunt. When I get a reply from offline I check the web site, the phone number and google the address if its close enough I will even drive by. If someone wants you in there company so bad they should be able to give you a call. If non of those check list work please believe you are being scammed. Don't let you eagerness for employment get you in a situation you wouldn't like to be in.

I too have been duped. I really am looking for a good job and I come to find out you can't trust anyone.  The internet isn't that great after all.  Shame on all those people that feel good about stealing from others.  I will report to the BBB agency  getfreecreditreport2010.com. This is the site they were trying to get me to use. It is so close to the original one that so many could get confused. I am also reporting to Craigslist to see if that will help. Everyone beware because these scammers have created what appears to be legitimate business web-sites. I hope someone shuts them down and puts them in jail.

I applied to several jobs on Craig's list and they requested a credit report. After applying for the report I was automatically a member of YourSavingsClub.com Majison, LLC is a scam.

Yeah they did it to me too. But I had recently had my report done and they only got my score they didn't get anything else and I did it through freecreditreport.com. where is they are legal. SCAM

Yes, what now? Wow, I am so naive. All they wanted was the credit score number, not the whole report. Do they now have all of my information?

I'm glad i looked it up first! I got the same exact e-mail...if they ever ask you for personal information such as your credit score or social security number before speaking with you "more about the job" or "in person" than it is most likely a scam.  If they are unwilling to move forward unless you give them financial information then go ahead and ignore it.

HAH! I knew this was a Scam, i never even replied to a job ad and got the email! But about 1 year ago i remember getting an email exactly like it when i was looking for work.

Some computer savy person needs to back trace those [***] and find where they are.
I'd be more than happy to knock on that door.

I got the same exact e-mail from a Craigslist job for Admistrative Helpdesk from a 'Chloe Elliot' HR director at Swilman with this same phone number - crazy that they even had a website that seems legit, glad I looked further into as I had inquired on more information from their listing and did not include a resume so it was funny to hear I was more qualified than 20 applicants when they had not seen my qualifications...

Very sad to see how people try to exploit and deceive job hunters :-(

Me too.  I scanned just the score thinking if it was a scam (and I was skeptical...) that they couldn't get any information through that one page.  But, at the bottom, it has the partial web address.  I wonder if they can somehow hack that address to get my full score???!!!  I really messed up, I should have looked more closely before I sent it.  I feel like such an idiot.  I usually always check BBB before I proceed with anything!  I guess when you are desperate for a job, you don't want to hear the bad news.
