I to just got this message,for a job at Charoncorp from Alexandria @ HR I was better suited for this job than the other 18 people,so I went to check to check a whocalledus.com they are out of California,I new it was a scam.I wont use craigslist anymore,until they can clear off there bogus jobs that are posted,has anybody ever got a real job on craigslist ?

Same thing just happened to me.  Potential job asking to forward my credit report.  I googled the company first and nothing came up.  But I'm pissed off about it.  It was via email though.

Oh man! I knew this "job" sounded fishy! I should of done my research BEFORE sending out the email in response to their CL posting. I got a response asking for a credit score, But just the number not the whole report. RED FLAG Number 1. Then "You seem very qualified more so than the other 16 applicant's" Ok how would they know this, I sent a very informal email only asking about the job. Ughhhh, Flippin' scam's left and right! I rcvd the same exact message after responding from a CL ad from a company called Vexas Corp. They asked for my credit check and I stupidly did it. Luckily I have a pre-paid Visa I did it with because they supposed $1 charge was actually $50!!!
