this number called me twice today

This person keeps calling & it is unwanted. This needs to stop

Just got a call from this number - Caller ID: Palmdale Area (California) - Had what seemed to be an Indian accent and I could hear other people with the same accent in the background.
Said that he is calling on behalf of the DirecTV installer and wanted to verify some info. He told me my phone number and he told me when my installer is going to be at my house. I signed up for DirecTV over the weekend. It all sounded legit until my spidey senses started tingling when he asked to verify my credit card number. I told him that I already gave that info when i called to order. He then said that he just needed to verify it and he wasnt going to charge my card. I told him the last four digits and he started getting a bit anxious. That's when I said "hold on, let me get it" and I looked up the number online. I told him that he is calling from a Skype number and that he is trying to scam me... Then he told me that he could tell me my account number to verify that he is legit.  I told him that I don't have that info with me. Then he said real fast "Well, I can just verify the account without your information... thankyouhaveagoodday bye.  

HA! whatever. I'm a little too savvy to fall for junk like that. I'm definitely going to be calling DirecTV to let them know that some info leaked somewhere and it wasn't on my end.

Got a call from that number today, it was from a friend living in China. Guess that numer was used to route the call here. So, it was valid for my call.

They call in the night and said you win something , and even they give you an address , but you have to ask everything they said and ask and ask and they hung up on you .

Got 2 cell phone calls from this number today at 11:20 and 11:21.  Missed the calls.  Very strange message when I tried to call it back, and it's stranger that others are getting calls.

This number call me several times and they are kind of fraud they offer dish net work and different services. Please don't intertain them.

Just got a call from this number. They left a message saying they know my address and will kill me if I don't send money from the drug deal? I don't have skype. And I dont partake in any illicit activity.

Anyone using Skype to call will get this Skype trunk # as someone other poster mentioned.    The Skype user can call any land line or cell.  You, the recipient, don't have to be a Skype user.

My husband also called me from Skype and this number appeared.  The odd thing is that we pay for a specific Skype phone number and it is definitely NOT this 661 number.  Not sure what they're doing over there at Skype, but we're checking on the number we actually pay for.

Obnoxious, OH you got me laughing so hard about what Eric said!  I know precisely how you feel.  I wish there weren't so many low brow people that dish out rudeness like it's nothing.  Even though I fully agree with you, don't let these types of uncultured pricks get your goat.....it's not worth getting yourself upset.  Then you just allowed them to taint your day :D  Many blessings to you, and LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!!

My friend call me from oversea by using Skype, and this is the number shown.

some one from this number keeps calling me and I have explained to them on multiple occasions that I am not the person they are looking for and that this is not their phone nor their number!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the call for no reason

this number called me and knew my picture on skype and knew my name.  Creeped me out a lot because I don't know anyone from California

We have gotten many, many phone calls from this number and a lot of them in the middle of the night.

I missed a call from this number at 7:10 am, and it shows us as a blocked call, and then also shows the number 661 380 3000 and you when you call the number back it says it is not assoicated with anyone number and that ONLY LAW ENFORCEMENT can request info, and suggest any claims of harrasment to be filed with the police.  Ironically that SOME MEN thing escorts are too dumb to verify information.

Just received a call from this number.  The man was speaking erratically and cursing.  Said he was from Oklahoma.  Then abruptly hung up.

Very disturbing.
