Also.... Make sure that your number in your Skype profile is only available to your contacts/friends. Otherwise you are going to get creeps who make pranks, sexual threats, and over all annoyances. Common sense people. Leaving your Skype open to anyone, and everyone is like going into every bathroom in every bar and writing on the wall "Call "insert name" for a great time!"

Unfortunately, if you have party friends who happen to have feelings about you, and they drunk skype you.... well.... that is a whole other story.

Why the need to call people "dumb [***]"??? Is it a reflection of yourself or what? If you think about it, there are MANY ways to block numbers. If you're on the landline you can contact your telecom operator and have that specific number blocked. If you're on a smartphone you can use one of dozens of apps out there that blacklist specific numbers or use a centralized database.

I really, really liked living in America except one thing. Loud mouthed, obnoxious people like you who start off with an insult when there clearly isn't need for any. Do you know how annoying that is, especially when you know more than the other person?

I got a call from a student representative from a college from this number. Nice to know I can't contact them back. It's also the same college that I've left ten voicemails over the past month for and they haven't gotten back to me because I want to decline my admissions offer and there's no other way to do it. They can't answer their phone or call someone back and it reflects poorly on them. I'm so glad I chose not to go there...

When my daughter in Berlin calls using skype to my cell number in oregon, this number shows up so it must be a Skype-linked number.

Just got this call and looked it up to find this thread.
I just signed up to Skype last week.

At first I thought it was a visitor from my website until I found this info here.
A guy called me and said I was a Effin' [***] (more descriptive than that).

All In did was ask him what he wanted as he was speaking incoherently.
Some folks have no life! LOL!!!

they not only called saying they got my name from a list but then called me back stating that we know you listened to your message

first of all I am on the no call list
second of all it sounds creepy to me that he knew I listened to his voicemessage - which I did in hopes of getting directions to unsubscribe to his ridiculous sales message
third trying call it back and it is generated from a machine

stop this guy and his sales pitch immediately

Just got a phone call from this number. They did not leave a message.  It was followed up by an "Unknown" number and again no message.

I got a voice mail from this phone number just now and it was a recorded voice from my ExecuCar ride to the airport tomorrow morning for my trip with confirmation of the pickup time at my home.  So I guess this number is one used for various businesses.  For me this was a good call!

Silence, then they hung up!

@9pm my phone rang with this number~I dont answer calls I dont know that is out of my area code unless I have the name in my contact list~my daughter uses skype but via our computers~I get these calls constantly and getting sick of them....they all come on my cell phone too

this was not a person calling me from skype. it was a recording that of course started in the middle. it was saying something about putting a sign in front of my house to fix something

It's 2 am just got a call !!!! What the F#%*!!! And this is the 6th call , I answered 1 call and they said there is a security breach on my computer!!  #%%€### it's 2 am now I'm mad !!

I just got a call from this number and they asked me did I want to go to the coffee shop? someone i know said the name Christian. Also on my iPhone they came up from the Palmdale Area. I tried to do reverse lookup and it said no matches found on like 6 sites.

Just blocked it on my cell phone.

U left in ur message about a overseas call to answer it??????? U must b one of them also are u gonna pay the hundreds of dollars for just a min. to a overseas call? Don't tell other people to answer it....they know if they have someone overseas or not.......what's wrong with you>>>
