They pulled my vacation rental phone number from homeaway and wanted to get me to list on their site.

this number called me and was indian said that my internet provider called him and said that spyware had been introduced to my computer. he took controll of my computer and installed the cccleaner before my bf told me to stop him now i have a virous and dont know how to get rid of it.

i got a call from this number an gilbert wanted me to pay some money for a grant wow not me

I received a call from that number today.  Only heavy breathing and suggestive comments.

If this is Skype I must have missed my brother's calls from Portugal at 5:02 pm, 2:37 pm, and 2:08 pm...or maybe it was a friend from Poland? hmmm.  thanks for the information.  Phone number was definitely 661-380-3000.  Just called and a lot of hummana hummana hummana so it must be Skype.

So would it make sense for someone to give you this number to reach them? A friend overseas gave me this number saying it was their cell phone number.

I created a free Google Voice number.  I post all my records with this number.  I have calls forwarded to my cell and house phone BUT i can turn that off at any time or when I don't want a call on my house number at a certain time (for instance).  Google Voice is free, you can have your own number with the area code you want and no one knows it's not your number.  The answering service says it's Google Voice but you can tell people it's your own private voicemail for all numbers (which is basically the truth).  You can also see what callers said since it has a voice to text service that is usually accurate.  

The number also allows for free text messaging if you're paying with a cellular data plan.

Can't send or receive pics but you can always email people that for free.

Hope this helps you so you don't have to get calls late at night or at times inconvenient for you?  Just make sure you change all the places you registered your cell and home numbers and you'll see the difference immediately!

It is Skype.  You do not have to have a skype account to get a call from a skype number...
That would be like saying you have to have an AT&T account to get a call from an AT&T line...

Yes this was a Skype number. My husband is out of the country and just tried to call my cell number. I did not recognize the number so let it to go voicemail. Played it back and realized I'd missed his call!

I got a few calls from 661-3800-3000 they didnt leave me a message. I answed the calls and they heard me say hello then hung up. I called them back they are the law enforcement. Why are they calling me?

My teenage daughter is getting calls from this number..the man actually talks to her and calls her bad names.  We contacted the police - apparently nothing they can do?  Said to change her number..anyone else with this problem?

My daughter gets calls repeatedly from this number...harrassing calls, it's always from a man...calling her names ([***]...f***ing [***], etc.)  She is 14 and horrified.  State police say we should change her number.

It is Skype or something similar. I have received calls from two legitimate contacts from this number with whom I work, one from England the other from India.
