This number called me litterally 5 mins ago he said his name was jack? I have no clue who it is but its sketchy as [***]

Just received a phone call from this same number, did not pick, I got a long weird computerised message  couldn't understand a word of what the voice was saying ( it sounded like someone used a cheap computer program to modify their own voice to sound like a machine calling). Five minutes later another phone call, declined the call again, and again I got the same voice mail message. Not even a minute later, I received a third call from the Palmdale area, this time showing 661-748-0242 as the caller and again a voice mail. This is extremely annoying.

I just received  a call and let it go to voicemail.  It was just a recording of a shuttle pick-up confirmation for tomorrow morning…  I am traveling and ordered a shuttle to take me to the airport.

I had an offer job from Complete Fulfillment Business Solution inc. They hired me to work for them as Mail Order Service. I accepted after they send "Application Form" " Contract...". About 10 packages arrives to my home address under various name. After that I received calls from the phone number 661-380-3000, a man guided me how to repackage and reshipping them to nearest USPS. He also send me Repaid labels to paste on each package to reshipping to Russia under my name.
My uncle told me this is scam job because we try to contact with him via above phone  number but could not. I want to stop working for him because I just reshipping only one small packages and I don't want to get big trouble. How can I do now with  remain packages that still in my garage?? Please advise me.

Skype # - could be anyone. Glad I answered because it was a dear friend who moved out of the country that I haven't seen or spoken to in a couple years!

Some [***] machine from the same number just called my 77 year old dad at 11:15pm from his sleep and said he was with the law enforcement agency.  Wtf?

I didnt have any of these numbers calling me until I gave a friend my number through live chat on facebook.. He lives in UK did that have anything to do with it?

I recieved 8 phone calls all with the same 661 area code 661 380 3000/ 661 748 0244/ then I recieved the rest from blocked #'s all from the same drunk man threaghtening to kill me! Should I be worried that this person is watching me thru my computer or??? I don't know who he is! I have kids & am kind of freaking out. He did not sound like anyone I know. Is this a scam? Is there a way that they can hack into my info or? Sorry I am not computer literate...

He just call me from that number too and said I was a winner of $6,000 government grants and he said he was calling me from the US Government department.  he said his name is  John jacob and his phone number 202-580-8490 ext. 1432.  and he gave me and address too: 200 independence ave. south west washington DC 20201.  He asked me for my ID, either driver license or passport and $200.00 deposit which he will refund to me. he has an strong oriental accent.  I said "NO thank you" and I did not share any info with him.  He call me three time in less than 10 minutes. On the second and third time he call me, he ask me: why I hang up, and he asked me do you want the money or not? so I was thinking to myself, who in the word is going to call you three time insisting to give you free money that you don't have to pay back? I told him I don't trust in people who is asking for my ID and money on the phone. Also I haven't apply for any government grants.

I just got a missed call from this number. I always answer my phone bc my husband is in afghanistan. Ive read alot of posts on this page and i saw someone posted about it being an afghanistan hospital. I just spoke with him 2 hours ago and he was going to bed. Should i worry?

Got a call just now-it's not attached to any known person so believe it was a solicitation. We are on the DNC list-fat lot of good that does................

Yes, you can stop the calls!  I received one, sometimes up to three calls a day for over 3 years until I finally fought back! Here's the secret: Their computer makes tens of thousands of calls a day, routed through different numbers all over the country, only connecting you to a salesperson when you say "hello".  At the first sign of negativity, they simply hang up. It costs them nothing! You will never get off the automated call list until you order something.

So DO IT! Be sure to ask lots of questions, change your mind several times, haggle on price. Then give them your address, email and credit card number (all fake!). The first time I kept the woman on the phone for 45 minutes. After she ran the fake card number (always use the correct first 2 digits), she desperately tried to call me 10 times a day for 3 days. Finally I answered and told her the credit card was canceled and gave her another. 3 more days of calling with no answer and it all stopped - for 3 months!!

I repeated the process, this time saying I had no credit card and was in the middle of switching bank accounts. After an hour on the phone fielding my stupid repeat questions and placing a $200 order, he sent instructions (to a fake email) on how to pre-pay using Western Union. He called 10 times a day for a week to figure out why they hadn't gotten the money before it all stopped again. 3 months later, here they come again. No biggie. I'm starting to enjoy this!

They make their money by selling to one of every 10,000 calls. It takes only a tiny percentage of fake orders to waste enough time for their entire marketing strategy to go bust. The salespeople get frustrated, make no commissions and quit. The company spends $1000 training another replacement. Their phone banks are stalled taking orders that only cost them money. Try it, its fun!

Put them out of business - REPOST THIS FOR EVERY NUMBER THEY USE

Some kind of person using this number saying they are trying to sell me a payday loan, umm not interested and don't call me again......Get a life please

I got 2 calls from this # and it was a man with a very deep accent and he knew my birth name not the name I go by . He said his name was John and he was a porn star and was trying I guess to make a sex call. I hung up and tried to call back # but it would't go through and then he called me back and my phone showed # not available...Sick person.

I missed a call from that no. But see that it could have come from my son in Afghanistan, thanks for the info

I got a call from number and i did not pick up, but i call back with blocked code and it tell me to report any abuses to law enforcement.. weird.. it might be a computer calling me.. sure

received 3 calls today alone; I can tell from the accent the girls are all telemarketers from the Philippines. Some home improvement scam. I told each one of the callers to remove my number; that any subsequent calls and I would be filing a harrassment charge (it was the first thing that came to my mind; I know I can't touch them - too far away). Either way- I usually do not answer my phone when an unknown number comes up but figured I would and now I received the hat trick .. HMPF!
