FYI I called them back also and pressed 1 but they are still calling. Frustrating.

Been getting calls from this number for the past 3 days and when I answer no one responds.

Woke me up early this morning..and just called me again. Very annoying! Been receiving their calls for 2 weeks now.

I had 3 calls from this number within 15 minutes!!  Didn't answer - have had calls from this number before.  Just got one now.  Time to let the AG know.

I answered and said "Fort Worth Police Department", the guy on the line stuttered, "Excuse, me." Then I repeated the line and he hung up when I was telling him "We are tracing this unsolicited call."

They stopped calling for 2 weeks. Now they started again.

Received four calls. Words mumbled each time.

We have rec'd several calls on today from this number 701 625-5444; the name that appears in the display is OTO Group. Which is some type of Telemarketing Group. When the phone is answered on the first ring no one is greeting you... nothing is said! After hanging up the calls back again and again. Evening if you dont answer they call back again and again. We have contacted the police department of that area. Its a scam to get your phone number.

I get a busy signal when I dial Steve Hamilton's number.  

Btw, I have been getting daily calls from this North Dakota number...they never leave a message.  They have been calling for more than a week.  I have no intention of replying (by 'pressing 1''), because from what I read, that just verifies to them that the number they are contacting is a valid, working number.

I am also on the national registry for 'do not call' list.  

The frustrating part for me is that I am on a VERY limited cell phone plan, and since incoming calls count toward the minutes, each time they call, that takes off a minute that would otherwise be available to me.  Over a period of a month, with their daily (and sometimes twice daily calls) they are using up my emergency minute plan. Unbelievable.

What a great idea.  What websites shall we use?  Ideas?  Btw, by the other commenter here who listed the name of the company selling our numbers, we should also flood their office with telephone calls.  I am wondering if that is already taking place, since when I dialed just now, their line was busy.

I'm getting tired of blocking this number!!  They should have been fined by now!

First and foremost - add your phone numbers to the national do not call registry. All telemarketing first are required to match their phone lists against the gov't every 30 days.

Assuming that you have done the above, each and every time you receive a call from a telemarketer, file a complaint to the FCC via http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.

The calls I get are from OTO group at that number and the person calling says his name is John and he is with Home Security.  We're on the no call list also.  This is a scam.

Multiple calls daily now for couple of weeks from 701 625-5444

they called wanting to give me a home security worth $850 free for putting a sign in my yard. Told them to put me on their do not call list and if they call again i will report them.

Like many other people here, I am registered with national DO NOT CALL registry. No use. They called me once when I was driving so my bluetooth automatically picked up. I clearly said I was not interested in their services at all but they continue to call. Just today, 05/12/2011, I received 4 calls already.
ps. It is good to hear that Verizon allows you to block certain phone numbers. AT&T told me I could only change numbers.
