Got a call, but they left no msg. What's their problem?

Please take them off my don not call list, they call constantly with no message, its annoying

This guy called and said he was from TWICE Magazine and wanted to update their records. Funny thing is you could tell the guy was talking in a car. When I started asking questions he "had to go". Here is alink to TWICE but not sure if this guy (ID' says MMG) is really from TWICE or not.

Get occasional calls from this number, callerID lists them as MMG.  Like the others, no message, occasional calls..

Trade Magazine renewal... "Product Design and Development"

shows up as "MMC" on caller ID

Magazine subscription solicitation. Arrrrghhh!

The callers were both Filipinos calling from "Product Design and Development" magazine. They called last week and apparently didn't speak enough English to take me off the list, never send me the magazine, don't call back, yada yada yada. They don't have to abide by the DNC.

Occasional calls. No message left. No name on caller ID, I do not answer.

Informed the nice lady who called, we have closed the business and are selling the building,
so we don't need any trade magazines.

Hope this works, as we must receive 5 mag's a day and they go right into the dumpster.

Called my cell phone. Marking as spam call and blocking.

Relax, folks. This is just a trade magazine (consumer electronics) that is calling to renew subscriptions. Now.... why would they be calling you? Probably because the previous owner of YOUR phone number, was in the business, and subscribed to the magazine. Yes, the should explain more on their voicemail message AND offer a way to be removed, but these are not the evil spammers that many of you are suggesting.

Called saying they were from Pro Sounds Magazine and did I want to continue my free subscription.  i told them I did, but had not time to talk to them right now.  Caller said this would only take a minute.  I hung up, then looked up the number.

I received the same kind of call, but from a man with a foreign accent who said he was calling for RADIO MAGAZINE.  i ASKED IS HE WAS THE SAME PERSON WHO CALLED, YESTERDAY AND HE SAID NO.  HE HAD SOME KIND OF FOREIGN ACCENT AND A DEEP VOICE, SIMILAR TO PREVIOUS CALLERS.  hE ALSO ASKED SPECIFICALLY TO SPEAK TO MY HUSBAND.  i TOLD THE MAN THAT MY HUSBAND WAS AFFILIATED WITHT HE RDAIO AND TELEVION INDUSDRY, BUT THAT THE CALLER HAD CALLED THE HOME NUMBER. TtHE CALLER THEN SAID THAT HE WOULD TAKE THE NAME OFF THE LIST.  DUH?  iF THE CALLER ACTUALLY REPRESENTENTED THE INDUSTRY, WOULDN'T THE CALLER WANT TO KNOW WHERE MY HUSBAND WORKED TO SEND THE MAGAZINE TO HIS OFFICE ADDRESS?  USUALLY, ALL INDUSTRY PUBLICATIONS ARRIVE free OR GRATIS TO MY HSUBAND'S OFFICE ANYWAY.  AT ANY RATE, I HUNG UP AFTER THAT AND PERFORMED A STAR-69 CALLER ID AND A STAR-57 CALL TRACE.  I THEN REPORTED THE CALLER AND THE NUMBER TO FTC.GOV.  REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT THE CALLER CALLED FROM MY HUSBAND'S INDUSTRY, OUR PHONE TELEHONE NUMBER IS LISTED ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.  NO ONE SHOULD BE CALLING ME AT HOME ASKING TO SPEAK TO MY HUSBAND, ANYWAY.

Called asking for someone for "subscriptions". We don't offer subscriptions of any kind, so I asked her to explain what/who she was looking for. She then became angry and rude when that didn't immediately make sense to me.  I don't care if she's calling with an actual service- I work in a very large office, and she needed to explain her business with us.  She couldn't, so I hung up. I've added this number to my list, and won't answer for her again.

This is a company that is hired by New Bay Media. They publish trade magazines that professionals in the sound, media, and music industries get for free. They are calling to see if someone at your number wants to renew their free subscription. Per government regulations, you have to renew each year because they write the free subs off their income taxes. I just renew online.

Stop your bitching and just don't answer.  This is a service that renews free magazines. They get paid by their advertisers based on readership.  Ask them to stop sending the magazine.
