Called us saying they wanted to renew a subscription for "Meetings and Management Magazine." We don't have, nor have we ever had outside magazines at our Non-profit. Only informational ones from inside.

Caller ID "CALLER ID" I didn't recognize the number and let it go to VM. They left no message and are know blocked. Most likely they're scammers as no legitimate business will call us because  we are on the Do-Not-Call List.

Got a call and didn't answer - no message was left

called and asked for owner of company...I said he could not get to the phone, can I take a message.  They said, maybe you can help...they said they were from a magazine publication and would like to update their personal information on (boss' name)...I told them absolutely not

CallerID: CALLER ID.  Yeah, that is a funny one.  Rang three times, left no message.

One of several numbers employed for allegedly soliciting personal data for free trade publications. What trade- sewer dwellers and sewer workers? Other websites report the origin as Charlotte, NC and representing high risk scam. However, if they are a legitimate company, then why don’t they have the professional decency to identify themselves on Caller Id? I followed the advice of others who post in this forum, and filed complaints online with our State Attorney General, the FCC and FTC. Complaining works, as enough of them will prompt the State and Federal authorities to track down the perps, close down their operation, impose severe fines, and prosecute. Blocked!

These guys call and hang up.  I will no-longer receive any magazine that they represent.

Legit, subscription remind for free trade magazine I subscribed to.  Very nice people, no issues in any way.

Called 4 times in a row and finally picked up on the 5th and just hanged-up.  He's now blocked :)

I'm on this site a *lot* to comment on scammers, but even I have to admit that this is a legit business.  They call me once a year, just to make sure we haven't moved & still want to get our magazine.  Otherwise, they don't bother us.

They seem to offer a few (free, I think?) trade publications... we get one a weekly one at my shop, and it does make sense for us... but might not make sense for others.   I'd just ask nicely to be removed from the mailing list if it's the latter.

Woman with accent wanted the Los Angeles regional office.  Upon discovering that she'd phoned New Jersey, she asked which town and what this particular location did.  That's already too many questions, so I provided the West Coast number and was about to hang up when she started "Yes but" -ing me, sounding annoyed.  Told her other callers were waiting in queue and hit the Drop button.

This number was listed on my missed calls log several times over several days.  They never left a message.  I called the number using *67 so my number would not show up and got a voice mail message saying ' I had been called due to some sort of trade magazine subscription and if I wanted to be removed from their calling list to leave my name and phone number'    No way was I leaving my name and number.

Also my google voice flagged it as spam so most likely some sort of scam.

Unknown caller, No message.
