They keep calling my home and ask for an unknown name or it's a message saying it's an important business matter. Neither I or my family have any outstanding debts!!!!!!!, so therefore, any advice to make these harassing , disturbing, phone calls to STOP?? Would be sincerely appreciated!!!! And yes, we are on the " do not call list"

The DNC only deals with telemarketers.  That is not to say you do not have legal recourse..   Get a mailing address - one that is verifiable (you can google it) and send them a cease and desist letter, you can get a free template online for this, via certified US mail. Keep a copy for yourself also. Keep any messages on your answering machine, makes notes and keep a notepad, record any conversations also according to the laws of your state (you can google that also, some states require you to tell them upfront they are being recorded)  Follow the steps here:

 I have been getting these calls for sometime. Now they have started calling and bothering my wife and she has nothing to do with my account. This has to do with me taking my grandkids to the ER. They have Medicaid and at the time we were applying for them. The Medicaid said they would repay up to three months back. Someone is not doing their job. I am going to send a letter to this company letting them know t stop bothering me and my wife. I will then deal with our local hospital and our Medicaid office to get this taken care of. If it comes down that I have to pay, then I will set up a payment plan and pay them. Does anyone know what type of letter I can write to have these folks stop harassing me? I applied for assistance with my outstanding medical cost with our hospital.Not that I have been in the hospital but that I am always having blood work done due to thyroid,Diabetes,-22 years now, &   blood Pressure. BCBS doesnt pay that well for our policy.I have 15% left to pay which is outstanding.But I do work 40 hours a week. But between buying my medicine and strips its outrages.. And due to being diabetic I cant go without 3 meals a day ,I do eat vey little but the grocery stores dont sell in  little pkgs.And no im not a big lady..125lbs for the last 22 years.And no i will not apply for financial assitance .My dad always taught us to work and even if you cant pay but a little.. You pay even if its a little,,Well thay were getting $20.00 a month now that they are pesting the hell out of me..$1.00 a month .they never refused my ck nor returned it so guess what they are stuck with accepting it..so let them call on

As I know hospitals or other medical places can't sell ur info and if they do they void the terms and it becomes null in void at that moment because of the patient/doctor confidentiality terms as I seen my entire family be done that way and this falls into place

I never received a call from PMAB but when I check my credit online and it shows them but I don't remember anything that had that amount due

This number is a debt collection agency - MICHAEL H. COFFEY, PMAB LLC TWO LAKE POINT PLAZA 4135 SOUTH STREAM BLVD SUITE 400 CHARLOTTE NC 28217 Phone: 704-553-7146.  This company made repeated calls attempting to collect an alleged debt owed to Georgia Emergency Associates.  The debt was not valid as Georgia Emergency Associates did not properly bill the insurance carriers.  Both Georgia Emergency Associates and PMAB were notified, in writing, that the debt was not valid.  PMAB was also notified verbally in two separate telephone calls the debt was not valid.  The calls persisted.  It is suggested that anyone who receives calls from this number review http://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/rules/rulemaki ... ctices-act-text and file a complaint with the FTC if you are a victim of violations by this company.

I've been hearing from PMAB, LLC, for almost four years but have never had any reason to respond.

They have never provided any evidence, whatsoever, that their calls are NOT a scam!

I just got a new cell phone and number about two weeks ago.  I have been getting calls from this number at least twice a day.  It was actually the very first number to call me.  They are obviously trying to reach whoever had this number before me but I cant reach any one to tell them to stop calling me.  

I get calls from this number at least four to five times a week. I'm tired of it as they wake me up since I work at home at night.

Multiple calls to my child's cell phone.  They are a collection agency. The agent I spoke with promised to remove the number from her database.  We'll see...

Medical bill paid in full.  Still getting calls.  Calls need to stop.

We got a call and a voice message about their attempt to collect a debt.  But, we checked our files and don't have any file or paperwork on PMAB and no past contact with them.  Very suspicious!  Their request was denied.

This bill is now a worker compensation claim!

Do not call my house again.  You need to call New Hanover Regional Urgent Care (910) 256-6222.  This was filed incorrectly.  They filed this under insurance when it was to be a workman's comp claim.  If you call my house again, I will contact an attorney.  You will be sued for tampering with my credit and harassment.

YOU need to call!!!!  No one from 800notes can do that for you!

If they would leave me a message I could take care of it right then. I know you are thinking answer the phone. I do not have my phone on most of the time because my husband has altzhimers and sometimes it upsets him, I know move it so he cannot hear it ring, it comes up on the TV I know have that taken off, I did, it upset him when he happen to hear it ring then I was hiding something from him. This illness is pure hell for them and their care givers. Just leave me a message. I know I owe it and since I have great insurance it is very little. Or they could send me a bill as I have not received anything from them.

These people managed to get $75 from me by intimidation -- that which I did not owe anyone. I was tired and trying to do the right thing. They falsely used HIPPA laws as the reason for not disclosing WHAT doctor I owed to. I have special needs kids and we have a LOT of doctors.  Rude, rude, rude. They will answer to their Creator.
