I just received a call from them as well, claiming that I owe 230.00 to ComED. I don't even know who ComED is...
I made sure to also let them know that I am Active Duty and under the Soldier and Sailors Protection Act, they are no longer allowed to call me.

This site rules.  I missed a call from this number - no VM.  I didn't recognize the number, so I googled it and found this page.  Now that I know its some scumbag trolling for my info, I'm gonna have a little fun if/when they call back.  I'll hit this site up again with the results if they call.

Beware, this is a fraudulent outfit. If called report to your State Attorney General.

They asked me to confim my name and my address. I said before I do, " who is this?" the guy would only tell me his name. He said, " if you won't confirm this is you, then I can't continue talking to you." I said, " fine. I didn't ask you to contact me. Whatever business you have with me, put it in writing."

Just got a call and for me to confirm my name so I did but before I go any further I asked for his name which was Arsineo and then he wanted me to verify my last 4 of my ss# so I started asking question and he couldn't answer until i verified first. so the I told him that this conversation is over and hung up.

This number called me 2x so far and the first time it seemed like they were going to leave a message but just didn't say anything and hung up. The second time was today and they did not leave a message so I am blocking this number as of today 1/15/14, Have no idea who it is or why they are calling.

Received call today at 4:50 pm.  The recording kept saying, please hold, please hold..........................

Get a life...........don't harass me...................

keep getting calls then they hang up

called my home number then my cell phone number asked for me and said that his name was derrick and that it was a recorded line I hung up. Then went online and saw this post. I have blocked them from my home and cell numbers. There has to be something we all can do to stop them..... Georgia phone number I have never been to Georgia in my life. so how can they call my home and cell. which by the way I never give out my home number I just got it because it was cheaper to have it from my cable provider... I haven't used that phone one time since I connected it... spooky.

They hang up on me!

Looks like they are doing blind sweeps.  Called my home # and then several hours latter called my business one.  no VM left either time.  

I didn't answer and called back from a different number. Claim to be called Contract Callers. And that their business was "important business information" and demanded to know what number they had originally called. So glad my iphone has a call block option. Scam!

Got a call claiming I owed Com Ed over $900.  I haven't had Com Ed for an electric company in over 8 years and I have filed bankruptcy since then so I know I do not owe anything. What a scam. Bottom feeder that bought an old bill hoping to collect on it.

Got a call from this number. Woman wanted me to verify the last 4 digits of my social security number. When I asked who she was and what she wanted she told me she couldn't give me any information until I verified with her. I told her i wasn't giving her any information until I knew who she was or what she wanted. She repeated her request for verification. I told her to not call again.

She mumbled her name and company so I didn't get it.

When I answer, no one is ever there.

This number called my grandfathers a couple of days ago looking for me.  He asked who they were and she said she could not say and he said OH YES YOU CAN, You are calling my house..  So she mumbled something, he said there was a language barrier.  He said are you calling from a debt collection.  She said Yes and that is all I can tell you, now do you know xxxxx.  He said yes that is my granddaughter.  She does not live here and I do not know where she is.   Then she hung up after saying we will take your name off the list.   The number showed up on his caller ID as Augusta GA...   I tried to call and was told to leave a message...  Which I did not I hung up.   I said I don't understand I have Credit Cards, Phone, Cell etc in my name.  I moved from PA to SC 3 yrs ago.   I said its not like I'm hiding anything.  If they wanted me that bad and were a creditor they could just pull my credit report and find me.  It's not rocket science people....

Received call from 706-250-5038 today. I never, ever pick up the phone if the number is unknown to me. They left NO message. Scammers! Don't bother answering your phone if you don't recognize the number. Simple easy rule!

I received a call from this number today and it is a total scam. Give them NO information. The first woman I spoke with immediately started telling me I didn't respond to something that was mailed to me so they would have to take care of this on the phone (something about an unpaid bill from 7 years ago from a company that I had never dealt with). I told her I never received anything in the mail and when she started telling me what I "owed" from my "unpaid bill" I told her I did not believe her and that she needed to mail me the papers to show me proof. She got extremely hateful with me saying why would she mail me papers again since they already mailed them once. I asked to speak to her supervisor and another woman came on the line and said that the "unpaid bill" would not be on my record anymore. These people MUST be reported to someone. I'm sure they have taken advantage of some poor soul out there that thought they really did owe money.

Getting automated calls from this number caller ID says Dalton, Georgia.  Number is 706-250-5038

Yep, this is definitely Contract Callers.  They soft pulled my CR a few days ago so I was expecting some sort of crap from them.  They did the same thing back in November and called me a couple of times and then gave up until now.  I never answer, they never leave a VM.
