Got a call from this number, stating that I owed Commonwealth Edison 95.00 from 1999 and that con ed wrote it off in 2009. Problem I still have commonwealth Edison and Have had them since 1968, never late always paid on time. Told them to send me proof that I own. Next any bill that is over 10 years is to old to collect on. Contacting the states attorney office.

Got a call from these people this morning.  It woke me up, so I couldn't answer the phone.  After reading all the messages, I won't bother to answer.

received a call at 9:30 this morning, mean sounding, pushy lady called, said she was on a recorded line and asked for "so and so" I said, "May I ask who's calling" she said she couldn't give me that info until I verified if I was "so and so". I refused to confirm nor deny the name until she identified who she was with. We went round and round and then she provided the last 4 of my Social and my physical address which was unnerving but I still refused to acknowledge if I was "so and so". Finally she got frustrated with me and said, "Fine, if you won't confirm you are "so and so" I am going to hang up." I have no idea what this could have been about. I do not owe anybody anything, it certainly started my day off on the wrong foot. I have since programmed their number to go straight to voice mail on my phone so hopefully I won't have to deal with them again.

I am a senior with many health problems, don't sleep well and this number called me early this morning and woke me. When I finally got to the phone, they wouldn't say anything.  I detest these types of calls.

This number continues to call. Today they called and I asked who they were and they wont say b ut they are looking for so and so - who we have told them over and over we dont know. Repeatedly have told them to remove our number, theysay they will but they dont. Told them this morning we are filing fcc complaint. Girl hung up

I received a call on my cell from this number today. I never answer numbers I don't know. After reading this page I realize it has something to do with a letter Contract Callers Inc. sent me claiming I owe a huge amount to PECO. I've never had a PECO account. They used my maiden name which I haven't gone by in 5+ years. This has to be some b.s.

Some kind of debt collector.  Possibility they have the wrong name.  Or the right name, but the wrong party.

They have called my Fiance many many times, always early in the day and we work nights. I always pick up for his unknown calls cause he does owe a debt, but not to them. They asked for his social and he made one up and a made up address then they said he owes a debt from before he turned 18. Total scam

I received a call from this number today and they stated that they were collecting a debt from Commonwealth Edison that was placed in collections in 2009. They listed an address that I lived in over 10 years ago. They asked me if I wanted to make a payment over the phone! I said NO and that I disputed the validity if the debt and that they need to lose my # or I'll have my attorney call them. I have excellent credit and know for certain this is a scam!

Its a scam, they act official & 1st thing they try to do is confirm last 4 digits of SS. I hung up!

I got the same routine from the number several times with promises of removing my number. They kept calling, so I simply put them on the call reject list on my Android phone. Peace at last!!!

Lady called from the number 706-250-5038 and asked for me, pronounced my name wrong, I corrected her...she said this call was being recorded and could I verify my last four of my social, which she knew - I would not confirm, said I didn't know her or her company and I would NOT verify anything to her, she said she was with some company that I couldn't understand and I said I still do not know who you are and she said "Ma'am, I'm going to have to terminate this call"  I said "Good!!!"  Then I googled and found this site - I know I don't have any bad debt, I am current on all my accounts, so I was very suspicious of the call from the beginning and it made me very angry to be asked to verify my information when they were not a company I even recognized.

Received a call with a recording asking me to hold. Yeah, right. Just curious...how are so many complaints logged on a phone number without the FCC monitoring this site and shutting these violators down? Seriously? The FCC can't trace these people down? Where else can complaints be logged where some action will be taken?

just got a call from 706-250-5038 ask if i was who i was and to press 1 or 2 then asked to hold, then click we were disconnected.

Getting phone calls from this number but no one speaks.

Just got a call from this number. It's a scam, do not answer in the future.

They called me, I picked up, and they stayed silent. They didn't call back.

If you get a call from this # tell the person if they suck you off you will give then $2.00.
