I just got a call from 806-853-9426 and it said it was an inmate. They had already called 3 times today. This time I answered. And immediately hung up after they said their name. I googled the number and it is linked to a firearms shop in lubbock.

Received a call at 2:21 a.m. on 7/23/15. Didn't answer. After reading the above comments, I Blocked the call number with my CPR Call Blocker I purchased from Amazon. One of the best investments I've ever made. I am 67 years old and all kinds of scammers have been calling but with my new investment calls have decreased significantly. I can block up to 1200 calls with ease. I've only blocked 125 so far but it's been worth it. My numbers are registered on the Do Not Call list with the government but its been useless!

If this isn't some sort of a scam...why are so many people getting the same b.s. calls...this is crap

It may be a legit service but if so many people who have Noone in a facility are getting the call...that makes it a scam, 1. To get access to your card info and 2. To screw someone out if hard earned money...it's a scam, if I have to give my personal info to someone just to see if I know who is requesting to fill up their phone card it's a damn scam...stop this b.s. haven't you read the xomments...none of these people getting the calls have anyone in the facility. ..ots a scam

Got a call from an inmate from Orange County jail facility,  Theo Lacey, which we did not accept. Left vm something to the effect "love you Pauline".  No Pauline here.  Came in as a Texas number. Happening frequently. We're done!!!!

This happened to me too! So weird!

I received a collect call from this number at 6:21 pacific time. I would like someone to look into this and remove my number from any data base they might be using.  I also received a follow up call at 7:10pm pacific time from 1-8010-483-8314

Was called in the am from 713-489-7849 in the am, then 800-483-8314.  Blocked the first number, then the second number showed up.  I blocked that one too.  This is frustraiting.

getting collect calls from this number, I do not know anyone in Texas, especially in the jail system. Please take my number off your system.

Caller stated his name (muffled and unable to figure it out), and stated he needed 300+ dollars to get out. A votive then came on line and said they worked for the prison at which the caller was inmate.  Gave different number options for me to press on phone, e.g., one number if I wanted to to pay, another number if I did not want to receive any more calls from him, etc.  I opted for none of them.

I too am getting these call when you call back they want your acct information, do not do it. it may be spoof  to get your info off your phone. check out consumers affairs and other sites regarding this number

Today Sept 9,2015 I have received 4 calls from this number. I reject them and have blocked the number. I guess I will wait and see if it works. Sooo annoying.

I put money in my husband's phone too...

And i have like 6 months putting money to him from that phone

For a smart phone you can download a free ap to block calls.  For an older-style cell phone ask your carrier.

For any cell phone you can put the pest in your contacts list and give him the ring tone "no ring" or "silence".  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.

Its from a prison system. If you have a loved one in the system pick the phone up. If you don't recognize his/her name just hang up.

Repeated calls and voice mail messages left on track phone. I don't answer. and want to block but can't find out how to do it.
