some body call me from there

this is a phone service that is hooked up to all or many jails in the United States and it is a inmate calling.

I get a call from my son's father every month and he is in prison in NC. This number pops up and I know it is him. They are not trying to scam you.

Just got a call from this number, wasn't able to get to the phone in time and the number didn't look familiar. Now that I know what's going on I'll block this number if I get any more calls from it.

I just got a call from this number and could not answer, and the message was Spanish or totally not understandable...I know now from all you it is a prison...HOW DID THEY GET MY NUMBER??? Who do I report this too?

These ppl keep calling me, I don't know anyone in Prison. Wished this number would stop calling me.

I got 3 calls from that number today . The firts time they called I didn't answer bc I didn't recognize the number and it said that it was from Texas and I live in nc so I didn't bother to pick up the phone but  they left a message sayin that an inmate was trying to contact me the second time they call I was kinda scared so I decide not to answer and the third time I decide to answer bc they kept insisting and I thought it was my brother bc he went to Texas this weekend  bc of his job so I thought that he prolly had gotten in trouble or something  so when I answered the third time it was one of my ex boyfriend so i would say it's not a scam or anything it's a number that inmates used to make free phone calls to their love one

Whoever is at the other end of this kept calling me until I blocked the number

Some one  how can I stop it

i'm getting calls from the same number 1-713-489-7846 MNDOC can't understand the name given. didn't accept

This is not a scam.  It is the number of  GlobalTelLink phone systems, which is the system used by the prison for inmates to call using a debit account set up by a family member so they can call home.  

I get mines on my cell phone.. Called T Mobile and they are [***] clueless.   Customer service agent studdered and irritated me even more.    

Im 15 and im getting these from same number ... Im scared

i do know that its possible to use a different phone number to show on caller ID *call spoofing* its called & ( i also just got this number left a voice mail just the machine part & i haven't a clue) 2x in 5 minutrs

Well the guy said its Tony aunt, jackie.  The tony i know would not or should not ever in life have my phone number.

Well, I have enough issues going on in my life right now.  I don't care to talk with anyone who is incarcerated.  PERIOD!

These people keep calling collect and I want it stopped I don't know who they are and they call all hours.

Received a phone call from this number at 3:30 am A a Collect call from an inmate. I just hung up did not listen as to who it was.

Don't know any inmates in Houston or elsewhere!
