Caller ID said "Bankcard Services". Only rang twice, and since we have no credit cards, I'm going to guess it was a debt collector dialed the wrong number.

I'm tired of these calls.

Left recorded message about second notice on delinquent credit card. When I tried to call the number back, I got silence followed by network difficulties message.

I got this call from them again for the 3rd time this week. so this time I stayed on the line till some foreign guy came on. I told him I would like for him to remove the number as I was on a do not call list. He hung up on me without saying a word!

Another robo call. I didn't even pick up. Another day, another scam call.

answered and only got a broken ring. Now we can't call out, but can receive calls. It came up the number plus these numbers above for name. V0520101331110132

Looks like this is a new number for these fools!  HA!

They called - I blocked.  It really IS that simple.

Buy a call blocking phone or a call blocking device and put these [***] out of business.

In all kindness, may I suggest that you either purchase a call blocker (Digitone from Amazon) or a call blocking phone.  Panasonic now makes a phone that blocks 250 calls.

For my office, I have the Digitone blocker.  The Digitone call blocker can block individual numbers and ENTIRE AREA CODES.  Currently, I have 27 area codes blocked along with numerous phone numbers.
 
For my home line, I have the new Panasonic phone that blocks 250 numbers.  I understand that it will fill with blocked numbers - sooner than later.  When the phone fills with numbers, I will delete the oldest number(s).

There must be a law to stop these calls

There are several laws but do you honestly expect scammers, most operating outside the US or Canada, to obey them?

Have recieved numerous unwanted calls from this number told the girl to take my name off their lists because I am tired of their calls. I asked if she heard me and she told me to SHUT UP.

Lots and lots of calls from here that has a recording "It's your last chance to take advantage of the Obama mortgage stimulas..."  There is no one available to talk with -- it's a waste of my time and I am very tired of the constant calling.  It will call immediately back if you don't answer.  I think harassment is a good word to use here.

horrible junk caller!!

A robocall that was my "second and final call" (if only!) about my credit-card debt (of which I have none except for purchases within this billing period).

My phone company doesn't offer a blocking service so this phone you are suggesting...does it need service or will the phone do it without.

The phone itself does it.  What happens is you hear one ring but the caller gets a disconnect.  When a number calls, you select it to store. It asks if you want to store in contacts or block list.  Select Block List then confirm.  You probably have to use a menu # option to enable the block list but it's all explained in the manual.
