Here we go again, another bunch to annoy people.  If I wanted to talk to my credit card company, I would call them.

They called telling me that I was going to get a $100 & a $50 gift card for completing a unknown (un-verifiable) survey or a review of a company.  They needed to verify my mailing address to send them and the free samples I would have to review...... disconnected.

I disagree.  Anytime I get a call from an unknown number, they tend to call once a day for a few days, but then after not answering the phone, they stop.

If you don't answer after so many calls I think they remove your number or at least nobody will buy it from them because it is unreachable.

I could be wrong but it seems for me, not answering is the best line of defense.

This was a new one. "You are receiving this call because of an app you downloaded or a survey you answered." We're going to send you free stuff. Yeah, right! She just went on and on even when I was shouting over her. I love getting real people on the phone just to mess with them. Anyone who calls me unsolicited deserves to be messed with. The DNC list is a JOKE! Complaining to the FCC is just a waste of time and band width.

Frontier? You live up in the mountains? Like around Redding or farther..? One of my very best friends is out of Montgomery Creek & I do believe Frontier is his carrier...   : )

The Phone company can arrange something like you suggested. years ago I had a irritant caller and complained to the phone company. They set it up so when this person called and we didn't hang up, they could not hang up. Went to a different phone and called it in.They were caught and phone company prosecuted them. So call it never know.

I love it when a live person calls and says wants to lower my interest rates on credit cards. I tell them they need some reliable information cause I don't have any CC's CLICK they are gone.

Get a call from this number every other day maybe. I dont have no credit cards at all. I dont even answer I reject the call. Annoying.

Call from this number went unanswered as it had no caller id.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Put the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers.
The DNC works just fine. It is for telemarketers only and honest business does indeed abide by it. It is the criminals (which includes illegal telemarketers), frauds and scammers that do not. However, the Fed. DNC does not cover some survey's, Political or Charities.  You would need to check your states DNC laws to see if these are under your states DNC laws.  The fact remains that they are not automatic call blockers though and can not protect you from the calls that are criminal, illegal or fraudulent.

Skype is the one handing out these bogus phone numbers!!! Anyone that pays for their "membership" can get a phone number from them and pull off these scams without being traced in other word they are disposable phone numbers if it backfires on the scammer all they have to do is throw away the phone and pay another 35 bucks for the "membership" and their in the scamming business once again !!!!! That is why no one can catch the SOB's because companies such as Skype offer their so called services to these creeps without any legal reprimands!!!!

Been getting calls from this number, but no message is ever left.
