I have been getting calls, from this # but don't know who they are from.

Caller ID states " VERIFY"  They call everyday, but since I don't recognize the phone # or Caller ID it goes to the answering machine.  They never leave a message.

I want to report repeated calls from this robot.  STOP IT!!!
If no one would purchase anything from these people, maybe robo calls would cease.  I'm a senior citizen who does not appreciate these calls.

As with an earlier caller, caller ID identified the caller as "VERIFY".  We did not answer.

I have got 6 back to back phone calls on my home phone and it leaves a voice  message saying "verification code" blah blah blah… I did not answer any of the phone calls and then I received the same message on my cell phone immediately and I answered it just now and it was a robot and it said the same thing with the verification code. I hit the block number on my cell phone for that phone number

I was making changes to my email account and it requires verification. As a result, I got a call from this number and it gave me a code to verify that I am indeed the owner of the account and have the code to verify that and can therefore make the changes. If you are getting a call from them that means someone is using your phone number to make changes to an email account probably not their own...

Care to tell us which company handles your email?
Some of the bigger ones give members an option to add their cell number for verification.
All seem to allow sending verification info to a different email address as originally chosen by the member.

In other words, I'm sorry, but your explanation may not be the correct one ... particularly since you searched for that supposed "good" number on a phone complaint site ... something that certain "happy campers" seem to do.

This number is used by Microsoft in validating your account information. My wife is using Windows 8.1 on her Pad and needed to update her account and had to verify it. It's a robo call that leaves a 7 digit validation code to get into your account settings.

Subject number has been calling here twice, one at 1:30 am & the other at 5:30 am. I live in central canada where 1:30 & 5:30 am not pacific time.

It is a scam...do not answer.

This is a company that does callback verifications for other companies. For example, FollowMyHealth.com uses them to verify when an account is set up.  This is to help prevent someone from setting up a fake account utilizing someone else's phone number and email.  I don't know if it's used or own by Google, but when you set up a Google phone #, then Google wants to call the referring phone number to verify it's actually you setting up the account.

Guys its a VERIFICATION call no from ola, no other company

Whenever I try logging into my MSN email account from a new computer, this number calls with a 6 or 7-digit verification code that allows me to login. So at least in some cases it is not a scam.

Called our office number at 11:54pm.  On one is in at that time.

they left me a message with some kind of code

This is a verification call; I added my home phone number to my profile on LinkedIn and they called with a verification code that I had to enter online before they would add the phone number to my profile.   Same thing for my cell number, except they texted that code to me.   So it's legit.   Conversely, if you get a call from this number and you HAVEN'T changed anything, that says that someone has either (a) made a typo or (b) is trying to take control of one of your accounts.

Correct.. It's the phone number that does call back-confirmation calls for AirBnB for instance..

I received 2 calls laat night when a guy claiming to be deployed in kabul Afghanistan was supposedly try to shut down his meet mee account,  seemed shady so told him to take a hike and blocked the number. Seems like he was trying to gain access to my accounts.
