I don't know who this is but they called my home at 5:40 AM - Sunday!  I didn't answer it [I can sleep through anything] and didn't notice the missed call until today.  Checked here first.

This is an automated call that provides verification for services such as Telegram.

If you aren't trying to sign up for a service, it means that someone else (on accident or on purpose) entered your phone number as a verification number on their new account.  Ignore them -- they should go away.

I just was called by this number, all right and proper. To quote a responder from earlier, If you are getting an unexpected call from them, that means someone is using your phone number, either on purpose or they typed in their phone wrong, to make changes to an email account or to make a booking or some other service that this company provides, as described earlier by other respondents. If you are getting multiple calls, well, maybe someone is trying several times to use the service, but with the wrong phone number -- yours! It's an automated system, so how do you get it to stop?! Someone else used BLOCK to get it to stop.

Synchrony bank uses it to verify the phone number on your account before they will talk to you about your account. It is a form of verifying that they are talking to the person that you claim to be. Definitely not a scam.

As everyone has been saying in the previous comments, this must be a verification call....my experience with this number has been, 1st I got a call from this number at 4:23am, 2nd I got a text message at 4:24am saying "verification code:1234567, and then finally I got 2 phone calls the same morning around 8:30am from someone stating that they were a previous owner of my phone number and couldn't believe that the phone company had released their number to me.....FYI,I don't know whether or not there was any scam in any of this but as for me I chose to just ignore and block the calls and text from this number and just politely tell the person who was calling about my number just that that this number is now my number,has been for quite some time now and did not mention any of the calls or text that I had been getting in regards to his verification, just in case. So that's just my input, do with it what you may, have a wonderful day everyone!!!

I forgot my password for a MS site. I had the choice of having a text, email or phone call. I took the phone call. They called right away and gave me 8 digit code. All legit.

It is or can be from Microsoft.  The verification code may be numbers or letters or a combination.  Nov 11, 2015.  got a message earlier that someone may be using my email and I should change my password.  Changed it; got this number calling when I opted to have notification by phone. Legit.  But seems like they could use something other than VERIFY as the caller ID.

My keyboard on a laptop went out. New one installed. When I signed in for Microsoft account they asked for several types of verification , after their acceptance they give an option for them to call you to put the final verification in place--they call your phone number using this 714 number for you to receive a special code which you then enter into into your computer thus giving them and you that you are the person requesting entry into your microsoft account.  So the 714 inbound number to you is for verification and security purposes.

If this number is legit as one person said; then they can leave a message as to who they are and why they are calling.  I do not pick up calls from unrecognizable phone numbers; so they will never get any kind of confirmation about anything!!!!

Called me every one minutes today and also other days.  Who Is this of 714-707-3260. It is harassment calls!! It might be hacker or spasm. Stop and Remove that number forever, please do it.  ENOUGH!

Apparently this is a callback verification for other companies. My calls are from ID Experts who are supposed to be "protecting" my personal data that was hacked via OPM. I've been "covered" for 4 days, have received 3 Alert Notifications and have had to go through the requires "pass code" each time. I don't have texting, their e-mails are gibberish code (that MAY have a code buried somewhere), so I am left with a phone call EACH AND EVERY TIME! And to cap it all off, there is never an alert!!!!

The OPM got screwed by another fast talking Company rep.

Call from Verify. Could be any old scam, you can't be to paranoid these days. Ignored and blocked.

This number calls with verification codes for access to certain parts of an account for changes to billing, etc. I received a call yesterday with a code in order to make changes to billing info on one if my accounts.  I knew the call was coming with the code so went ahead an answered.  If you aren't making changes then go ahead and block the number.

Same here and I did not use them for anything

First received call at 12:50 CST. Did not answer. They called again. I answered. It was a recording giving me a verification number. I just hung up. Could not believe they called after midnight and woke us.
