- The ThinkerI have recieved a call from this number also but to everyone that reads this heres what i do.. if the number that calls you from this number or any other number that you never seen before DO NOT ANSWER IT even if its from your own state because its really not. Call them back using the number they give in a voicemail if any from a number that isnt yours so they cant see its really you calling. Use anything such as a pay phone or like i have an app on my iphone called talkatone which makes their caller id show you calling from a weird number from some other state.. Thats how they are reaching you and making your caller id show a call incoming from the US when they are really overseas using a computer. And if your a verizon wireless customer you can go into your account and block this and any number you wish except toll free numbers. And also if your receiving calls from a debt collector anyways, paying them wont help anything towards the original creditor so why pay them. The damage to your credit is already done so all you can do is start good credit somewheres else... Never give a debt collector your information.. Know your state laws... if they are out of your state they cant sue or anything.. so if they want to harass...harass them back lol

- Nieves LopezA man has called 11 times since 10:30 this morning and it is now 2 PM. He is calling for my husband and has called repeatedly without leaving a message. I just answered the phone and asked him to report his harrassment.

- mymomI love *60. If a # calls, and I do some research and see that they are telemarketers or scum business practicing people, I just block them. I have not had any calls from any unknown #'s in a while. I did the same with this company. They try to look for my husbands cousin who doesn't pay any of his bills, and we end up getting harassed by them, because they see we have the same last name as he. Sometimes I give him up, but if they are pushy and rude like these jerks are, I just add them to my call rejection. Haha!

- not the one| 1 replyDumb collection agency calling me work phone for weeks for a woman I never heard of… I have repeatedly told them I DON’T KNOW HER!! So they promise not to call again… yet they do! Today the woman argues that I never told her-personally – so she still plans to call me!!! Ohhhh that made me angry…
So I called them back & asked for RALPH. Receptionist did not know who Ralph was ( well, of course not – cuz I had just MADE HIM UP!! ) so I said EXACTLY!!
…so she started asking me questions – which I refused to answer – just asked for RALPH!!
She said there was no Ralph there , & I said EXACTLY! Now, may I speak with RALPH?
We did this several times. Then I explained to her that I had asked them repeatedly not to call me cuz it was wrong number , but they continued to do so – so I had decided that I was going to `play the same game’ with them.
I told her I was kinda liking this game & I was thinking of calling every hour and asking for RALPH.
She became very irritated and told me the call was being recorded – which I said YAY!! Let the recording note that I am going to do the same thing…
she then became angry and argued a lot with me and told me said ` I will transfer you to Ralph because I am going to terminate your call ‘…and she hung up!!!
So I called them back a couple hours later, this time from a blocked number… asking for Ralph
We went round & round again. The lady was not happy with me – I quickly said `this call is being recorded & monitored for quality purposes’ and then SHE started saying the same thing – but I interrupted her & told her she can’t record the call because I said it first! HAHAHAHA
.. I was laughing pretty hard here … She was really irritated with this & transferred me to some guy who said he was a supervisor
…& I kept asking for Ralph
. Then he promised he would stop the calls if I would just give him a number – I explained how that had already been promised to me last week by a man – but this week I get a call from a woman who says because I did not tell HER, she is now going to call me…so all I wanted to do was to talk to RALPH!!
This guy became irritated as well because no matter what he said, I told him all I wanted was to talk to RALPH –
oh, and every now and then I would throw in ` this is regarding an important message ‘
or `this call is being recorded for quality purposes’
…. But I would repeatedly ask for RALPH… the guy got totally mad and was raising his voice – & I sympathized with him and explained that is EXACTLY HOW WE FEEL WHEN THEY DO THIS TO US ...oh , & let him know I would be calling again and asking for RALPH- Caller: First Source Advantage / NCO

- RejoiceI am concerned that they R phishing. They ask for a family member. I asked to take a message. They wanted to know who I was, asked my name and to verify the family members BD. I gave the info then ask for the spelling of the person's name that they were looking for. It was not the same. They have called before and said they would take our # off the list.If this is not the person U were looking for how did U get this #? I am afraid I gave them info to go on. I do not owe any debts that I am past due on & therefore will B more cautious in the future as to who I give ANY info to.

- HilariousSome [***] called and left a 25 second message of him breathing. That's all, just breathing. Is that supposed to be intimidating? Since he works for a junk debt collector, I bet this guy is a failed fast-food manager. He probably worked for 20 years in a kitchen wearing a short sleeved dress shirt that used to be white but is yellow and a polyester tie. He's overweight, balding, stressed, has high blood pressure, and is one cigarette away from the big one. And this is his way of getting back at the world for his miserable life. He can do it anonymously. If he was ever challenged about his manhood, he'd talk tough over the phone, but he'd never show up in person to defend himself. Yes, I do have a debt. But, I don't have the money to pay it. If I did have the money, I would have paid it, but not to this guy. I'm not a dead beat, I lost my job for the first time in 23 years and couldn't keep up. Next time, I wont rack up debt, but, that's my life lesson I've learned. It's not this guys job to teach me anything, nor could he. I contributed more to society while unemployed than these people ever will while they work. But breathing heavy on the phone? Come on! Is that supposed to get me to pay? I just don't get why they waste their time with me. But, they can keep calling if they want. I'll never pay a junk debt collector, never! Keep it coming "junkies".

- Star-Studded SingerSTOP talking to these people. They are scam artists, and the only way they are successful is if you TALK to them. Give them some incentive to stop calling your house. As soon as you hear it's them on the line, put the phone next to the radio or television and turn the volume up really loud, and then walk away. You already know you don't owe these people anything, you know they are not real collection agencies trying to recover a legitimate debt, so don't get upset and don't carry on a conversation with them. What I do each and every time they call and tell me my call is being recorded, is I SING! I sing LOUD and HORRIBLY, all my favorite tunes, although sometimes I ask them if they want to hear a certain artist and then I sing that. I sing right over their b.s. collection pitch. My singing is so ratchet that I seldom get more than a few bars out before they hang up. After 2-3 times reaching me and getting sung to, they take my number off their list and they never call back!

- A way to block these [***]Anyone who has a smart phone can get an app for free called YouMail. You can use it to BLOCK and ditch people who are unwanted. It will block private and unknown numbers and any number you enter into it. You can even set designated ring tones for each caller.
- Ann GravesThese people are calling me for debt collection, even though I don't owe anything.
- april replies to BJif you use a smartphone you can download a free app called YouMail. You can ditch callers with it so that they can not leave you a message.

- AJHave to agree with everyone here......get these calls on home phone and cell. Have no business with them. Told them to stop calling. Like all of you they say it is the number on file and will keep calling. This is ludicrous. We should send all these comments to the Atty General and let them look into it!

- SuzCalling for debt collecting for someone related to us that we don't associate with. I don't even know how they linked up my cell phone number with HIS debt. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize and just put them on call block or no ring on my phone. Hate to tell them, but they are probably never going to get their money from this guy.
