This number calls our business but we simply screen them out as a "nuisance call" but they do get an option to leave voice mail which of course they never do.  So, it is that simple folks, just filter them out and then they can't get to you anymore to annoy you.  They just end up wasting their time, money and resources calling a number that isn't interested, will never talk to them nor even say "hello".  Now, that makes me very happy because I don't ever have to deal with them anymore and they don't even make one thin dime from us.  It is an interesting pasttime they have though.

I will NEVER sell drugs just to quit calling people. I am a christian and pray to God every day for strength and support in this evil and cruel world and have been studying with a certain religion in their bible studies for over a year now and have been saved since Memorial Day of 2006 and have almost 3 1/2 years of clean time and it is going to stay that way. There are 220 people that work in this call center as well as many people in the other cities other than Portland. We are not trying to bother you. If we were doing that then it would say that in our script "Is it OK to bother you". Alot of people work in call centers and eliminate all of these jobs in Call centers and people will be forced to do things to get by that are illegal. I do not believe in the UN-Christian life style and should not be forced to do that while the evil USA that is supposed to be and acts so patriotic on the 4th of July keeps abandoning the American workers and society by making it more unfair every day due to greed of the American Corporations.Unless something changes in society things will continue to get worse and worse and never change until the Lord comes. Again people should of read the fine print before signing the No Call petition but they would rather blame people at the bottom of the barrel financially for all of their problems rather than complaining to someone that can actually do something about it. I can't. Why don't you go and do the same... How many more call centers do they want to eliminate where people will be forced to take the laws into their own hands and commit crimes. It is already so bad now. How much worse do you want it to get. the law as of today still remains the same as it was as of September of 2003 if you look at DONOTCALL.gov and read the site. It has been that way over 6 years now.

I agree with one of the other posters.  Please leave us YOUR phone number Patricia (and CiCi) so that we all might call you at all hours of the day.  Surely you don't see a problem with this.

Market Research companies still can legally call you have have been able to since the beginning of the No Call law in September of 2003. We are not trying to steal any ones idenity. People that are stealing idenities are not working for Market Research. They are out and about trying to get it from trash cans according to the news reports I see all the time. the Federal government is not going to change a law where we are not breaking the law but only trying to do important research. Again people DID NOT read the fine print of the No Call petition or when we call say "I do not care" if you can call or not. They go "I do not care" "I do not care" "I do not care" and "I do not care over and over and over and over. It has been over 6 years and the law is still the same. It is a violation of freedom of speech to silence us. Just like the person last Sunday that said "Dont talk" "dont talk" "don't talk" "don't talk and "Don't talk over and over and over. That was juvinile and very very stupid and again is NOT going to change the law no matter how dumb or stupid you act. Market Research companies provide jobs to people who cannot survive on SS money and the disabled. As you know some SS plans only pay $400.00 to $500.00 a month and that is nothing. Do you want to have to pay for our food,rent and our welfare if we do not work? I do not think so. You can not care and say you do not care over and over and over. It does no good to do that because they law is still going to stay the same. Also for all the youth when we ask to speak to an adult in the household and 95-96% of you hang up on us-(like you did last night)how would you like it if I called to offer your parents a job or employment and you hung up on the employment recruiter. If I was offering your parents a job-I would take that job application and tear it up immediately and NEVER ever call your house again for that purpose EVER. So think about that one as well youth with no manners or upbringing whatsoever.

I opted to take the call.  The call was regarding banking.  In the middle of me answering her questions, I recieved an incoming call.  I old her I had a call coming in, she opted to JUST DISCONNECT.  I was surprised by her rude reaction because I accepted her phone call and participated in her survey.
Now I google the phone number.  It tells me that I can sign up to be taken off the list.  They want your email address, now are they going to sell that????!!!  Never did sign up. Welcome to the internet.

Today I have started filing complaints with donotcall.gov after demanding to be removed from this phone spammer's list, with no letup from these dirtbags.

Young woman called claiming to be from the University of Michigan conducting a marketing survey for Marketing Strategies.  I guess at least some of that is correct.

We have been getting daily calls from this company.
We do not and do not wish to converse with callers who will not leave a message on the answering machine.

We do not have the time or anything to talk on the phone and answer personal questions asked to us by a stranger...
I think anyone who answers questions from a stranger well..they are just not supposed to ok.
So anyway..these kinds of calls drive me and our dogs nuts.They are barking and jump a mile when the phone rings over and over and over..

Like "Get a Job" said, why does your "company" continue to call when asked NOT TO? What part of "N-O" don't you people understand????

you talk about technology...how about your "company" run the national do not call list against the list of phone number they want you and your fellow workers to call and then NOT CALL those numbers registered as "do not call". I'm sure technology is advanced enough to come up with such a computer program. I'm sure this would also cut down on those "screaming jerks" you seem to be so upset about.
