They just called me. Sounded like she was in India. Many of these companies have a point of contact in the U.S. to seem legit, but outsource the calling so they can't be touched, plus it's cheaper.

Yes, the do-not-call list DOES apply to them.  It only doesn't if you've had contact with them before.

734-542-7758 was on caller i.d. this evening with no message left.  From what I have read here, this particular company is obviously not trustworthy.

I have, however, received many survey calls in the past that were legit.  I try to participate as often as I can for two reasons:

1. Legitimate surveys are typically part of a study, and I see it as a "voice" that I would otherwise most likely not have.  I've never been asked for money, and am happy to take a few minutes to answer questions that might possibly lead to positive changes in our lives - especially in the areas of education and health related issues.

2. The interviewers are only doing their job...why be rude to them?  They read from a scripted dialogue and input the responses they receive into a computerized system that will later be analyzed for the purpose of public opinion.  I don't understand why anyone would not want to be a part of this process.  It's a simple way to make a difference.

BTW - as long as no one asked you for money, the do-not-call lists DOES NOT apply to surveys and calls from polling institutions - e.i. Neilson Ratings.

Every freaking day I have to tolerate idiots calling my home at all hours and harassing me!  I am soooooo sick of it and can't understand why it is allowed.  I'm buying a whistle, and the very next idiot that calls my number is gonna get blasted full throttle!!!!  I don't care if it permanantly damages their freaking ears; it will serve them right!  I absolutely HATE those people.  Why they aren't behind bars is beyond my comprehension.

I've been receiving calls from the number 734-542-7758(Livonia,Michigan)for the past week or so. I've never bothered to pick up the telephone because  I didn't recognize the number and  the calls always come in after 6:00 p.m. I went on line and discovered the calls were coming from Marketing Strategies.

Got a call today. Thought it might have been my brother who may have been using a promotional phone card.

Came up as 734-542-7758 on my caller ID. For name, it came up as "MICHIGAN". I answered on the 4th ring, and it was a dial tone. The thought of getting rid of my home phone and relying on my cell is looking better all the time...

I kept getting calls.  I went to their website and told them not to call me.  Their privacy states that I would be removed in 3 business days.  Guess what?  They called again.  I called their corporate headquarters in Livonia - 734.542.7600 - and talked to someone.  They removed my number right then.  We'll see if they keep their word.

I never answer calls I don't recognize numbers for, and this was no exception.  I was called at 5:55pm on a Sunday, and immediately googled the number.  I saw all the other comments about whomever this is, and the fact that I'm not the only one they don't leave a message for.

It's annoying.  Stop calling.

This is the kind of thing you mean people brag about. I cannot believe anyone would do that to people only trying to earn a decent living and not try to sell anything or rip you off. I work in Market Research due to severe disabilities and cannot believe someone like you can look in a mirror and brag about someone taking their hearing away. How dare you! I have read other comments on other sites from evil people like you. I hope God strikes you in the arm with lightening for your evilness. Karma Breeds Karma and it always will. It will never ever change.

Keep getting calls from Market Strategies, phone number 734-542-7758.  They never leave a message.  I am on the "Do Not Call" list and want these people to STOP CALLING!  I never answer a call when I don't know who is calling, so they are just wasting their time!
