I got a recording I blocked my number when I called. They were able to overide the block. Who are these people? I just want them to stop calling our home.

RECORDED MESSAGE: Don't hang up, this is a public service announcment (my eye) that cable companies will be raising their rates soon, blah blah blah......  Is it seriously a public service to call us with this kind of stuff.  I think NOT!!!!!!

I have a received several calls from the #(757) 990-8981, It is just a recording that says "I'm Sorry My Mistake" and hangs up. I tried to call it back and it gives me my own Phone # and says to press 1, which I didn't??????

what happened to the do not call registry.. can't this be enforced somehow!

I just got the same thing and called it back - could barely hear the person - pressed 1 and did it again and pressed 2 to see if something else happened but nothing.
Called my phone company first to find out if they changed anything on my phone service and they said it's harder to do that now than before - have to go through authorization -

There is a post at the beginning that gives a phone number to the Temperanceville, VA police dept. and we should all report it as an annoyance call and they can trace it - the # is 1-757-824-5404 - must be a small place or the office # because I called it and got a recording just stating "Hello, we are not available now, please leave your name and #".  No idea if it's the police department or not.  Will try tomorrow normal business hours to see what it is.

When I answered land line phone they said sorry my mistake.  Called back on Cell phone and could not understand what they were saying except they gave me my cell phone number.

I got a call from them "MCS something" trying to lower my rates if I have above $4,000 on credit cards.
I told them that I am on the do-not-call list and "Marco" hang-up on me.
He did not agree to remove me from their list or anything. I think this number is a scam.

Received call from this company, when I answered I was told, "Sorry, I got a wrong number".  I don't believe this as the scammers that are using this number try to avoid charge for calling a number on "Do Not Call List".  Please report to Temperanceville VA local police,  number is (757) 824-5404.

They have called many times.  They do not take your name off their calling list, they can be rude.  Calling back only leads to garbled message and no action.

Have received this call several times, shows up as "Sales Dept"  When you say hello, a recorded voice says, "Sorry about that"  and hangs up.  Obviously, they are tracking when we are home for the purpose of selling that information to others or for there own survey...Don't you love election year?

I get one or two calls from this number DAILY for two months now.  I'm SICK OF IT!  How in the HECK can I get them to stop???  I'm ready to call a lawyer...

Showed up on caller ID as "Sales Dept."  I didn't bother answering the call.

These number (757)990-8981 keeps calling me to tell me my name it''s on google, the guy has a indian accent, beware

Take my number off your calling list I do not want your service if your number shows up on my caller ID again the number will be given to my lawyer and he will deal with you.

did it work? I keep getting calls on my del from who ever. This has got to stop.

Haven't answered the call because they are calling our fax line and our fax machine does not have a handset for us to actually pick up and answer.

I received a call from this number and called back.  The automated message is very hard to understand but it is giving you the option to be removed from "the list" or not be removed from "the list."  There is no identifying information that tells who the number belongs to.
