Said they were attorney calling for the client cash advance usa...read me my ssn address place of employment etc. told me that a sheriff would be at my door to arrest me tomorrow...sending letters to my employer, credit place and to me...if i had any ? ask the sheriff in the morning...what do you do to stop these ppl? they have your info...very upsetting

Just had the same call and I was nervous until I started playing back on his phone. Now he wont even answer this is totally a SCAM

I had looked into payday loans and now I'm getting these threatening phone calls from this number. He told me in a thick accent, that his name was "Johnnie Walker" and I had to call immediately. Something needs to be done to stop this harassment.

every time I've asked to speak to there supervisor aor I would have my attorney contact them they hang up, and indeed my attorney call but noavail. just ignore this clowns, but check your credit report frequently and report suspicious activities to the bureaus immediately.

It's very simple. If you have ever applied for a loan online chances are you gave them your SSN. And they sell your information to anyone who is wrong to pay for the lead. I think the real problem here is the loan companies regulations and how there is no law that prohibits people to sell your information. I think someone should go after those online cash advance and quick loan matching sites. I received the same call and it was 3 weeks after I applied for a car loan online and starte getting calls from all kinds of loan places. Be careful and don't share your info with anyone online. If its a big trusted company chances are they have an office somewhere accessible to you.

They keep calling me and leaving me messages about illigal fraud or something wanting my attorney information, and about stuff unfolding on me. does anyone know how to stop this?

Someone who had an accent & claimed to be Josh Matthews left a msg on my voicemail asking me had I contacted my attorney(s) & to get back in touch with him or im going to have a warrant for my arrest. I kept calling the number back but no one answered I was definitely going to give him a piece of my mind!

I am receiving calls after calls from 760-440-5421 which is a big scam they state they are from The Bureau of Investigations about alegal matter. They are scam artists from India and if they do not quit calling me I am reporting them to the authorities.

I just got two calls simultaneous from this number.  I picked up to answer one and nobody was on the line.  I called back and they asked for my case number. I said I didn't have one.  He then said are you "Henry Marcus' (though it was hard to understand the last name. I said no and gave my first name.  He said everything is okay and we have a warrant for your arrest. I asked for the name of the law firm and he said that's okay and hung up.  I called back and told him he made me nervous and I wanted to know if he was referring to someone else. He then said he was and hung up.  I called the same number from my cell phone which was the other line and another person asked for my case number. I told him about the mention of arrest and he said okay i understand and hung up.  i then checked the phone number and up came this site.  very unnerving

I just received calls on my cell phone and work phone.  Pretty much the same deal as the previous commentors, thick Indian accent and they say the cops could show up at my work tomorrow morning.  I do admit I recently did the payday advance thing (foolish I know but I was desperate) so this really had me worried.  She kept grilling me why I hadn't made payments and was ignoring the payment reminder emails.  She got pretty rude at a couple points in the conversation but I could hardly understand her anyways so I blew it off.  Needless to say I asked her what law firm she worked for any where it was located.  She hesitantly said Patricia Browns law office in San Francisco.  I asked her how it was spelled and she sarcastically retorted "what you don't know how to spell that?"  Dumb [***], as if I didn't know it was a scam before that toally tipped me off.  Scumbags.

If you've  ever applied online for a loan of any kind or car insurance or sign up for pretty much anything they have your info and there's no laws against them selling this info to highest bidder. I received the same call stating it was bank fraud and there was a warrant for not paying loans. I never had payday loan. Besides this is a civil case not criminal. Im a police officer and when i told them they hung up on me. Be careful people.

They just called my job Looking for an Individual. I told them we cannot transfer calls to employees as they work in the field, and i hung up. They called back 15 times. Annoying jerks.....

Yeah these A Holes have called my cell, my home and leave the same exact message as everyone here is talking about, when I called the # to ask what they wanted, I received the same nonsense that everyone else received, including the hang ups.. I don't know what they want but I'm blocking em.
