Yup got this call too, eric wilson or something left a voicemail. I dont owe anyone any money, and I know the rules they have to send you a letter first, then you can make them prove you owe it. They like to threaten that they are coming to get you and that the sheriff is coming to get you, trust me they are not! Debt is a civil issue NOT a criminal issue, they can not arrest you for that, they guy had really old info on me, wrong county city/state, so obvious scam, got my info from somewhere but these guys are hard to track down, and they are not in the US, so I sprung for the paid call blocker app on my phone, works amazing! I have always wanted to get an airhorn and blow it in their ear...hmm maybe thats next :)

Me and my roomate both got calls from this guy today n at works Im going to report the to the fcc and attorney general that's what my attorney advised me to do.

They knew my social security no. and said to call back and talk to a Michael Carter

Same call to my cell and work numbers. Turning him in to the Attorney General's office right now!

Got the same call today and yesterday. It is for sure a SCAM!!
I told my staff to just tell him I no longer work there and they stop calling.
Just don't fight with them, they they call over and over and over again.

I got the same phones call today at my home. Some foreign guy was trying to say that they had a case on me and that i needed to get my attorney. So I ask him what the hell was he talking about, and what case. He didnt have any info except my ssn. So I told him to not call my house again, and of course later that day called and my wife answered. So he harrassed her with the same nonsense. So she called the Sherrif's Office and they took care of the matter. Now all I want to know is since everyone on here has the same issue. How come this [***] isnt being sued and taking care of. Not to be rude on here but when I tell someone not to call me again and they dont listen I dont like it. Im glad Im not in CA is all I can say.

it has to be. I have been getting all kids of calls from this #. I have been ignoring it and then they called my place of work!!!!! Hot!!!!

called me 3 times one at work and 2 on my cell phone and i called them back would not give them my ss# or date of birth and they said if i didnt give them my law office info they would not send me anything saying i owed almost 8000.00 dollars and i went to the cops

I got a  call from  the same   person and  never got the money

As with so MANY OTHERS, I have received several calls from this POOR-ENGLISH-SPEAKING harasser with pure threats as to arrest, fines, lawsuits, better-call-me-back-or-else, snide, and "I can only wish you good luck" babble.  Obviously from Delhi, even though it appears to have a California link.  I am reporting, as before, this again to the authorities.   Calling the he number back only gets silence and a final "beep".

Pure unadulterated harassment!!!

I just received a call on my cell then an immediate call at my job.  I had applied for an online loan a while back, so all of these previous explanations make sense.  I didn't speak with him, but listened to his message both on my cell and work phone.  He said his name was John Rivera, and I need to call him back immediately or my attorney.  He mentioned the words time-sensitive as well, and told me that if I don't return his call immediately he wished me lucks as the situation unfolds.

I like what one poster said about calling back and giving him the State's Attorney's phone number - LOL.

I'm warning our operators at my job about this now so that no one else gets bothered.

I am glad to read your post because I freaked out they told me I had to pay 500$ today or they were fowarding an email to the police dept for an arrest warrant but i have a payday loan that I need to pay I had agreed to make payment arrangments as soon as I get my first paycheck then get this today and they actually called my 12yr olds pohone and freaked him out telling him this was a legal matter and I better call tomorrow I am going down to the police dept and filing against them they wont answer my calls now I called back to let them know I read all these post and know they are a fraud! I didn't think they could get an arrest warrent for me on this when I have never been in trouble for anything before!!!

I just got a call from these people asking for my attorney's information I simply told them to go to hell.  I am going to reach out to my attorney to find out exactly what the heck I can do about it,  People donot be afraid of these scamming loosers.

Received the same thing, knew it already from a different number. I like Lou's Idea to go after these companies. I will setup a website for everybody to get together to file a joint lawsuit. I can't affort to do a lawsuit alone and I guess the result will be much better if we attack that with a lot of people. So please check back here in a while for more information. If any of you have more ideas or know of something similar going on already please let me know here in this forum.

Yep the same S@#! happened to me!  I NEVER took out a payday loan form anyone!  
They can't speak English and when I asked him about from who and what company was suing me and having me arrested he got RUDE.  [***]!

This number has been calling me saying i am going to be arrested and stuff they even have my ssn. Its scary i tell you. Please make this stop is not funny at all
