I can't stand Hope House or Nspire either!
But today was a new one. My car was in the shop all day so I was at home with the garage door closed, and it faces the REAR of our house. When my husband came home there was a large plastic bag on the garage door with a note that says Hope House will be collecting on thursday. I feel that my privacy has been violated by them coming to the back of the house, and able to look into garage windows to see that no car was there. I also live in an town that has a strict no soliciting law.

You DO NOT want these crooks casing your neighborhood.

Received call from "Hope" yesterday asking for donations of household items.  I told them that I might have a few things for their pickup next week.  I decided to look up this organization this morning, could not find an organization called Hope but I did find Hope House.  This is what I found on the Hope House website for all to see.   ​

If you are being solicited for clothing by an agency calling itself Hope House it is NOT US! We are aware of such calls being placed, apparently by Nspire Outreach, an agency out of Georgia.  We are informed that they say that they are calling on behalf of Hope House in Charlotte. We are not aware that any such entity exists, but are certain that these calls are not being made by anyone associated with Hope House Foundation, Inc.

This agency is NOT associated with or affiliated with Hope House in Huntersville, or the Hope House Foundation in any way.   We receive complaints about calls from "Hope House" and its solicitation methods frequently.  We DO NOT solicit monetary or clothing donations by telephone. EVER. We have been in contact with Nspire's Director, Gregg Kennard, and were told they would explain who they are but due to the amount of complaints we continue to receive, we are not confident this has occurred.

Please continue to NOTIFY ​​US of your concerns so that we can take the necessary steps to address this situation. We hope that if we work together we can resolve this positively.

I believe Hope House is receiving a bad rap because of this Hope whatever.  I will donate this 1 time since I told them I would but not anymore.  Hope this helps.

By the way, I got calls from this Nspire Outreach, had to block them on my phone.  I would rather donate to the area I live in so I have decided to go with that,

Tell them to answer so i can chew them a new one!!  Quit f***ing calling! I've had this line for three days and 8 calls and 5 of them are from the company!! Come on.

I am tired of HOPE HOUSE calling over and over again...day after day...multiple times per day....  I want them to STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope House and NSpire both keep constantly calling all hours of the day. Have them shut down!!!

I sent an email to assist@hope4dv.org and assist@nspireoutreach.org requesting my phone number be removed from their solicitation call list.  I've had it with these guys.  I will never give to a charity that utilizes harassing practices to get donations.

Constant calls from this number.  Once to twice a week.  Why is this allowed?  We are on the Do not call list.  I have even called Hope House in Atlanta and left a message asking them to remove my number from the calling list.

I've had to block both Hope House and Nspire to stop their incessant annoying phone calls.  Any agency who hassles me like this will NEVER get my support.  They have no respect for anyone,.  I've even e-mailed the head honcho at Nspire who tauts himself to be some kind of minister and still the calls keep coming.  I certainly have no respect for this so-called minister.

When I found a pink bag on my mailbox with "Hope House" instructions I was actually glad that the clothes including career clothes (some with tags still attached) would go to an organization that was helping victims of domestic abuse.   I also added some household items and then waited for then to pick things up.  

When they didn't pick up the items I'd carefully packed I called the number on the donatiion card - it went to voicemail.  I finally (and I realize I should have done this first) looked up the website and learned that they just sell things in bulk to thrift shops - which means that the clothes I was donating weren't going to help anyone but the thrift store owners who were getting high end suits, jackets, shirts, purses and shoes in new with tag or like knew dry cleaned items.

These donation people, and I am not sure that that is even true, call once or twice a day for weeks on end.  They have been calling for years.  I finally entered them into my blocked numbers listing and am afraid to move them off.

Please stop calling me.
