I have no idea who this is.  They didnt leave a msg on my cell

This is a company called MedCo. Most likely your insurance company has contracted with them to handle your prescriptions. If you have filled scrips at a pharmacy, since MedCo is part of your insurance company, they know what you have filled and are most likely calling you to let you know of the benefits of getting a 3 month at-a-time mail order scrip instead of having to go in once a month or so. These calls are part of the service they provide. They also provide information about generics and stuff like this. They DO have a life, it is making sure that people know information they need to know in order to make informed decisions. It seems there is always someone complaining they don't know what's going on when in truth, they didn't really pay attention. It's Medco, a mail-order drug prescription company......they reminded me I have a prescription available to be refilled.

Unwanted call

Called me. I answered, no one spoke, so I did not speak. Held line open for about a minute then hung up

Couple calls always when I'm at work, no message.

Received second call in one week. First was a hangup and today when I asked "may I help you", a very DUMB sounding man stumbled over his words and then hung up.

Got 2 calls this morning with no message while I was asleep. One at 9:41am, and another at 10:00am. So I googled it the number, was directed to this page, and called MedCo with one of the 1-800 numbers provided on these pages by the user posts. They said my number is not in their database. I told them that's a bunch of crap, and to put me on their do not call list, and if they call me ever again, I will file a complaint with the FCC. They seem to call from different numbers each time I believe, so blocking their number is just not going to work.

Also forgot to mention, I have gotten several calls from these people in the past, and they are very annoying and persistent, and they do not stop, no matter how many times I tell them to stop calling me number or remove me from their list, or add me to their do not call list. They are also horribly exploitative as well it seems, but for reasons I do not wish to disclose. I believe the only thing you will be able to do is to file a complaint with the FCC.

some online notes say it is MEDCO calling but reverse look up shows a Florida painting outfit.

The phone never shuts up!  You answer: dead air.  You call back-busy.  It's annoying and illeagel to harrass me.  STOP!  Just because my husband MEDCO is in his medicare stuff, don't give them the right to bother you in this fashion.  Drop Dead!

I agree, my husband deals with Medco for his medicare, but usually it is the insurance company contacts you by mail, not on the phone and doesn't keep calling back and calling back.

we have gotten 4 calls in the last 3 days from that same number... 772-335-4498 and i called the 800-818-0093 number today... they sent me to the research department and are going to research the problem and make sure i dont get a call again... if ne one else is getting calls from them i'd suggest doing the same thing. they were very nice on the phone... and even searched their info for my whole family's name to see if we had an account there... which none of us did... so i honestly think someone is just trying to get personal info by calling random people. do not answer calls from them or especially give them any personal info unless u call the 800 line!

This number calls every so often though repeatly and never leaving a message. Luckly, I can block it on my cell though it still tells me that I missed the call.
