I received a message on my phone to call regarding a civil suit against me and show cause hearing.  I called the number left, 774-221-8770, and tried ALL the options to speak with someone about this.  Well go figure, not a person at any one of them.  It makes me mad that these idiots go after others to make money that we have worked hard for and the have NOT!!!

Received the same message from the same number, with the same result, all mailboxes I tried to access were described as "full."
However, my caller ID identified the caller as "Emma Chaney." If that is of any help.

I just left a message for the FBI, with a full description of the recording, case #, phone #, as well as the name identified by my caller ID.

Multiple calls to ex mother in laws unlisted home number saying I was attempting a restraining order.  No idea where these crooks are getting their info.  Call back # 1-774-221-8770 left on messages.

I had the exact same phone call as these hundreds of other people have described hope they get caught...thankfully it sounded so phony I knew it was a scam. It was a message about a restraining order and said I should forward it to my atourney and had 24-48 hrs to respond or a judgement would be made against me I was given a case # and the phone # 774-221-8770 to call back. They called my mother and my ex mother in laws house. What a SCAM!!! Not going to even try to call back.

I also have received this call from 774-221-8770.  They call my mothers house and my 90 yr old gmom.  They had her in a panic that I did something wrong.  I wish I knew what to do to stop these calls.  We have all received this call three times this week.  I am going to call Verizon and have this number blocked. I kept getting a call from this same number. cannot get anyone. they are referening case number uox1983. they call my office everyday. what is this?

They are a joke. As soon as I asked to talk to the managing partner of the firm or ask for the attorney's Bar Association number they hang up.

I have been receiving phone calls from this number several times a week. They keep giving a civil case number and talking about some case against me. When I call back or enter the civil case number it goes nowhere and the call is ended. What is going on? Is this a scam?

I received a call from a different number on my house phone from a recording that only said "please hold while we connect your call" - when I hung up, 10 seconds later my cell phone rang from this number, when I answered, they asked for me by name (a live operator), then told me to hold for the other operator.  My bank recently had a data breech so I did hold to make sure it wasn't about that.

The person who came on was nasty when I asked for more details than "this is about a personal business matter" and "IC Systems" before I would answer her questions about MY identity.  I hung up at that point.

I recently (like last week) filed for divorce - I think they get the contact information from court documents and figure anyone going through any sort of legal matter might be stressed/confused/overwhelmed enough to fall for the scam.
