Keep receiving this call from 774-221-8770 never can get thru.Don't know who or why.Pranks or someone trying to get me to pay something not mine.

I don't know who this is, but they are calling for my husbands ex-wife. Just gonna say to whomever is behind this, if I find out Wharton your up to I will turn you in to the FCC. You have been warned!!!!!!!

Have recieved two calls where a message and phone number have been left. 774 221-8770. try to call back and talk to a person so I could go off on thier a**. but never able to get anyone. These are some sick [***]. Anyone know how to report them or get them from calling?

I had 24 hrs. to call or my bank account would be freezed. I did not get the call. They called my ex wife and my son.

got call today stating restraint order from bank....no such thing exist.....SCAM COMPANY

Received a recorded message from this phone number saying that a "restraining order" had been filed against  me by Melissa Sayer (?). Checked with my local police but they were not aware of anything. Reporting this to them in case other residents in my town receive such calls.

Told I'd receive a summons, all bank and property in danger of being seized! Edna Chaney was the name on caller I.D., same as the others. Something about a fraud rental w/Alamo Rental Cars in 2005???!!! I don't know anything about it! Didn't rent a car then! What the heck is this and how do I stop it?

I do not know what this is but it's an unwanted phone call and I'd like to know who is calling me and telling me that I have a restraint etc. then clicks off?

I received a call from this number this afternoon 2/4/2013.  They call themselves National Legal Corp.
Earlier today I received a call from Process Server Corp. (617) 830-2295.  This company knew my name and claimed that I had a debt from 2009 for $662.67.  They said that they are a collection company for HSBC.
Several months ago I received a threatening phone call from a bogus company such as these.  They request payment within 48 hours or legal action will be taken.

Civil Investigation unit National Legal Corporation left me a voicemail message with a cause number and stating I needed to forward information to my attorney because someone has filed a complaint against me in the order has a restraining order and I have 24-48 hours to respond.

I'm being sued.

Received phone call as well from 774-221-8770 from Emma Chaney. Recording stating the same- debt, restraining order, call your lawyer, giving a claim number. Thank god for technology. When I called the number back the voicemail was full. Sure it was, they just don't want to hear from all of us! Previous post referenced the FTC to file a complaint. Anyone know where else to file a complaint?

I am receiving threading phone call's, regarding court appearance's and time sensitive matter's of this content. Can you please discontinue all the harassing phone calls to my phone number.

As far as I have been able to find out, no one can garnish your wages except the IRS and government backed student loans.

Received the same call with the advice to immediately give the information to my attorney and that I was required to appear.  When I called back they said the party I was attempting to reach was overloaded with calls and to call back later.

Don't do that!!  You should realize that "caller ID" numbers are easily faked or "spoofed," and that the caller ID name that you are shown is a data entry in one of a large number of commercial databases.  Not all of these databases are kept up to date, and even then, the caller's phone company has to notify the owner of the particular database your phone uses before the number can be correctly correlated to display on your phone.

The only reliable way to get the calling party's number (and even this may not work all the time anymore) is to get a toll-free number and have your caller directly call that number.  (Forwarding the number to the toll-free number isn't likely to work.). Then you can get ANI (automatic number identification), which is a --seperate service-- from caller ID.

All this is not to say that caller ID isn't helpful (after all, it's probably the only information you'll get, and you can use it to block calls), but just to note that it isn't reliable enough to use for retaliatory calling.  And that might be considered as a separate case of harassment, anyway.

I recieved a voice mail that started halfway through  It did not state any name but said It was regarding a pending restraining order and required a response from my attourney within 24 hours.I couldnt get through the message system rang busy .So could not leave a message. Fearfull I contacted my attourney. At a cost of $75 Used 97 minutes of mt phone plan and over 2 hours of my time.
On a wrong [***] # I will find out Where to have you served and I plan on sueing you.It was not even me you were looking for. It was neglegent on your behalf. Get your [***] together you son of a b**h.
Mostly because you hung up on me when I asked for your contact info. You F******G P*SSY A**HOLE dont even have the guts to answer my questions.

Received phone message from 774-221-8770 representing the National Legal Corp.   Told me I had 24-48 hours to respond and appear in court because there was a restraining order against me.  Gave me a lawsuit number and told me to contact my lawyer.  

I tried calling back and automated system said next available agent would take my call.  This never happened.   No agent was there.  I was on hold for 13 minutes.  Next I tried calling again to leave a message.  Their automated system was full and not receiving additional messages.  

This has to be a scam.   I am a law abiding citizen and I pay my bills on time.

I don't know anyone in MA.
