Do not want any telemarketers calling my number I am on the do not call registery. - potente31This number is a collection agency, they pick up old stuff and try to collect it. They dont block the number hoping you think it is someone you WANT to talk to. Screw them!

- wow replies to Zrob1Your both really immature. It doesn't matter what their political views are. All that matters is that people are being hired (either because there are limited job opportunities in their area, or because they like to harass people, or it could be a multitude of other reasons) to harass their fellow Americans over a real or fake dept, disregarding current laws, just to make some business money.
- wow replies to Kmh| 1 replyDid they send you a bill at home? If they did keep the bill. Make payments to them ( you dont need their approval to do it ) using a check so you can keep track that you have payed them, make sure you have records ( which you will have to go get from the bank ) which prove they accepted the check and just pay them off like that. Do not give them extra information about yourself so they can harass you more efficiently.

- PThe calls is from Reno, Nevada! I also checked in Msn.com white pages for reverse calls, and it said AT&T land line as in now.
- Totally TickedReceived call that says press #1 if you are not this person, press #2 if you are the person and it also gives you a telephone number to call.
I pressed #1 and someone answered saying they were trying to reach ?? after telling them I did not know this person, they demanded to know who I was. I told them I wasn't who they were trying to reach and not to call here again.
Not 10 mins later the phone rings again, this time I chose option #2 and someone came on saying they were trying to reach ?? and I told them I didn't know the person, I also informed them that I told the last person that called 10 mins ago the same thing and they were not to call here again, remove my number from their automated dialing service.
Both people were demanding to know who I was and were not only rude but were accusing me of being who they were trying to locate. I also informed them the next time they call, I would be reporting them to the Attorney Generals Office. They hung up on me.
10 Mins later they called again. I hung up and will not be answering again, but will be putting them on call block. Regardless of what you tell them, they ignore you and keep calling. - Hate EmThey keep calling here for someone I don't know. I told them I don't know the person and to stop calling. The keep calling.
This time I decided to pretend I was the person they were looking for. I got all the information I needed then thanked them for the info and I was going to use it to report them to the Attorney General's Office.
She got mad and hung up.- Caller: First National Collections Bureau

- Mrs.DD| 3 repliesAt first, the number came up as Unknown. Like everyone else, I do not answer my phone with 1800 numbers or strange area codes. I do not want whatever anyone is selling so don't call my house. However after the 100th phone call in about a week, I finally bit the bullet and answered the phone. It was an automated message directed to my maiden name and wanted me to call a number concerning personal business. I've been married now for 8 1/2 years. If I had any outstanding balances on anything even in my maiden name, I would have saw it on my credit report 6 years ago when we bought our house. If it's that important, why don't they mail me a letter? Matter of fact, I got a copy of my credit reports a month ago, and I had no outstanding balances. I've heard of too many phone scams to call any 1 800 number back. Isn't there a way to block these numbers? Ugh! So frustrating when your phone is ringing 7 days a week, 5 times a day! We all need to get together and keep calling that number 300 times a day and keep hanging up on them! But fortunately, I'm sure we all have a life and no time to be playing on the phone!

- Tattletale replies to nunya| 1 replymultiple calls, hang ups, but leave a voicemail for my husband to call this 1-800 # about a 10 year old credit card. Like I'm paying that - the statute of limitations for collections is 7 years. Explains why they have been calling my house for 6 months, but don't have the nerve to put the debt on his credit report and has only sent one letter to the house...SCAMMERS - ILLEGAL COLLECTIONS
- IanCalled multiple times in 1 week (about 5) asking for some girl I think its a credit card scam

- B.sick/n/tired replies to soon2Bgrammi| 1 replyI have been getting calls from 775-412-4499 from Reno Nevada and 800-600-2610 for 2 years now. They leave automated voice on the answering system. They are the same people from what I can tell. They are looking for someone who has the same first initial I have and same last name. I have the information put in the phone book that way because I am a single woman, live alone and am disabled. They have harrassed me. I have repeadedly told them I am not Brenda and they don't believe me. One day there was a gay guy here cleaning for me and I asked him to answer the phone and tell them I was not Brenda. They told him they knew he was lying for Brenda and he was my husband. I seriously don't know what to do. I have anxiety probelms besides my Rhuematoid Arthrits. Just get up to see who's calling is a big deal for me it is usually them.
